    Advantages Advantages 20% saving on gas / elec, no obvious decrease in service levels

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Takes a while to sort out, few too many forms to fill in but can live with that

    How annoying are those gas and electricity adverts, ooh you can save £50 with us compared to XYZ... aargh, people are coming back to ABC in droves... you know the ones I mean, the ones which make you switch over. So rather than wonder how much I could save, I looked into all the companies who sell elec & gas as a one-bill package to see how much I can save. Electricity & Gas can now be bought from the same supplier. This means that they can save money by dealing with a lot less administration, the reduced costs are a benefit to the customer etc etc. The major savings made by them is that they ... more
