What to look for in a gas cooker

Advantages: Cheaper than electricity, faster, good range of cookers
Disadvantages: None

Years ago I would have recommended specific makes, such as Canon, but now most companies are offering similar appliances. They are all owned by each other anyway! So it is best to look at whichever cooker you like, and see if it meets safety standards. Here are a few pointers to help you choose : Look for a cooker that doesn't have much glass on it.
