Today I am going to make a rare, and indeed only my second visit to the cars and motoring section and I am going to tell you about my experience with my newest Mercedes car. This vehicle I am going to ramble on about today is the Merc C200K.

The cost of the above repairs are/will be in excess of £3,000 (for a car less than 6 years old). I have approached both the Mercedes main agents where I bought the vehicle from and written to Mercedes, Germany. You may want to know that it has all been in vain and they can not even tell me the expected design life of the components that have failed.
After first writing ... ...So beware when buying a Mercedes C class, they are not all you may think they are especially from a quality/reliability viewpoint. You will be expected to pay top class money but will not get a top class service from this once renowned (but no longer) car manufacturer. Writing to the main office is a meaningless task and any excuse comes back from them.

I has hired one of these out a little while back and it was one wicked car. It was very fast and on the motorway it worked like a miracle. It has a special button under the accelleration pedal which when you press it kicks in a supercharger. As this supercharger kicks in you are pushed back into your seat and the car just goes and goes. The comfort in this car is astonishing and so are all the gadgets. The big display in front with all the gadgets ...

Advantages: Snob Value, Engine, Space Disadvantages: Build Quality
...as did the ESP. However Mercedes were good at handling with the faults and sent a 24 hour repair van to the house and once the fault had been diagnosed arranged a hire car and took the car to the dealer. It also loses point in terms of security as Mercedes do not install deadlocks on their cars.
Compared to the main rival 3-Series and A4 the C-Class is a much more pleasant place to be a passenger due to more rear leg room, a spacious interior and ... ...yourself "cruising" more than "driving".
I am changing my car in the next few months to the new 3 Series due to company car tax being a lot cheaper on diesels and the 320d has a lot to offer in terms of a diesel engine however if I wasn't being forced to buy a diesel the C-Class would be my choice again. ...
