Message from Nam was written when Danielle Steel was still at the top of her game. Now that she's lost the plot (pardon the pun) a little, it's nice to go back and read titles such as this. Published in 1991, Message from Nam was well received on publication and certainly remains one of my favourite slushy novels. The title made me stop and look at this book. I do read Danielle Steele books occasionally, but this one didn`t sound like her usual love, romance novels. I bought the book and took ot home. Two hours later I was still sat with my nose in it, I just couldn`t put it down. The story tells about the life of Paxton Andrews, she grew up with a domineering mother, her life was dull and her mother ruled it. She set her hopes on becoming a journalist ... Read review

I read a lot of Danielle Steele books but this one sounded just like one of her love and romance novels. when i had bought the book i sat in my living room on a saturday night with a botle of wine in one hand and the book in another i just could put this book down.
