i got one of these because i didn't want wires everywhere in our house. when i first put it in it wouldn'tt connect up to my wireless router(linksys). i called up a help line and they said that they had no idea how to fix it so i ended up having to buy a new one (netgear). with this it works well most of them time but if it doesn't always work. i think that may be down to the router but it may be the adapter. anyway it works most the time pretty well. ... I find that you must buy a fairly expensive router to use this product. I bought a cheap router and get disconnected in the middle of a game sometimes which can be quite annoying. Buy a router £60 or more and you should be ok. Also i reccomend that you do not have the router at a totally opposite end of the house or it could give a weak signal. The average price for this wireless adaptor in shops is around £50. All in all it is a great piece of equipment as x box has the best online multiplayer community and also it is very interactable. You can dopwnload movies, music demos and even full games with it. A membership fee is not too much. An optional £5 a month etc.
