There are several tabs along the top of the screen that houses the required icons. If you're used to using Office 2003 then this can be annoying at first, as you have to get used to the new layout, but once you do it makes things alot easier. ...you want to have a Microsoft email client, outlook express works well, but I find that something different, like Mozilla Thunderbird is better suited to my needs than Outlook. The new User Interface is excellent (though if you are used to Office 97-2003, it can be frustrating but after a while you will find it a lot easier to complete frequently used tasks) when I first used the software, it needed to download at least 10 patches. This is an excellt product when you get youst to the new format. it takes a bit of getting used to buyt once you do its alot easier and will make you alot more productove. It looks alot better too, better than those old boring bars at the top. only problem is that they didnt include Outlook. On the whole though, an excellent prpduct

Microsoft Office Home and Student is good office package overall, but it takes some getting used to without the File etc. menus. The new 'Office' button is the button you will use for everything.
