...is another success from the Microsoft company. The Interface and quality of the Microsoft Office 2007 is really good and easy to understand. Though I must admit that I was so naive when I first used it. The organized interface really helped a lot in giving me an idea on how to use it. Microsoft office 2007 is a fantastic update to the other microsoft office packages, I purchased tis produced 1 year ago, and at first was a bit sceptical about how the new layout was done. However once i got used to the new layout and design of the product it wa clear how much easier this version was to use. At last Microsoft have made significant `internal' improvements to their office package as well as changed the look of it. This is both good and bad. On the plus side there are a lot of new things - Word gets to behave even more like a desk top publishing package with `flash-like' zooming, 3D effects and other nice features. Microsoft has given it's office system a complete revamp for this new Professional version of Microsoft Office 2007. Advantages: Very fast and very easy to load
Disadvantages: Very few software products still integrate, large hdd space required

For those who are used to the looks Office XP and Office 2003 had, Office 2007 can be a real surprise. But once You get used to it, it can be really fun and distractive. The looks are somewhat confusing, this added to the fact that not all the software products available on the market today do integrate with Office 2007. Fantastic new upgrade. Design has totally changed and takes some getting used to. Only slight problem is that the new default saving format ISNT compatible with older versions. This is to be expected with any new software, just annoying as many users havnt, and prob wont for some time, of upgraded yet.

After using numerous versions of Word since time began, this version seems extremely difficult to navigate and does not use common logic for menu structure. Two BIG thumbs down in my book. Sorry Microsoft.. wish I could say otherwise but a new GUI interface with a few enhancements will not carry the product and if it lacks an easy intuitive navigation structure, the prior versions will do nicely. Removing Frontpage & other useful tools also does not help in building value.

Advantages: Easy, small file save sizes, looks good
Disadvantages: PRICE - typical money grabbing Microsoft

This is a great product if you ignore the price. If you are a new or existing user of the Office series by Microsoft, then this is great! Everything is so easy to do. Things like mail merges, and referencing objects used to be hidden in menus in the old office programs, however, it is all clearly laid out now! The only thing is that the price is so ridiculously expensive - try open office or get the student edition - there is no student validation ... Read review

Advantages: Clear and beat the crap out of Microsoft Office 2003
Disadvantages: The Microsoft logo at the top left corner is very distracting

...the thing you need. Its Microsoft logo at the top-left corner is a bit distracting . The visual is clear. Not all the application recieve an appearence overhaul though. The tabs are neatly arranged in the Microsoft Word. Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint had also had full change. All in all this is one of the lesser mistakes of Microsoft in quite a while. Disadvantages: Backward compatibility, a challenge for users of previous versions of MS Office and the Price
