    Disadvantages Disadvantages Bit slow to start up.

    To start off with, out of the box everything's pretty straight forward. The instruction manual, installation CD and the warranty are easily seen. The installation itself is very straight forward by Microsoft standards. Simply insert your disc, enter your serial number and you're away. Nothing complicated about it at all. It should be noted though, the bar displaying how far on the installation process is, is nothing to go by. Depending on your processor speed, the regularity of this bar moving is dependant.     Office 2007 is a great application and is the 6 years of hardwork of people working in it. i was using office-03 for the last few years and i was somewhat not satisfied its 4 years old-school look, besides that it doesnot have the support features of PDF file which is a great file format to work with. and since i am using my old pc with 256mb of RAM, its quite a cumbersome work to manage multitasking with office 2003 therefore i switched to a lightweight word processor "ABBY FINE READER". which have more or less same features as of office-03 and takes up half resources as office-03. but after ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Some programmes havent changed much

    I have had it for 3 months now, and much prefer it over 2003. The look and feel of office 2007 interface is so much better, with lots of added functions to it. Word has a much easier and more powerful desktop, and excel has a lot more functions such as 3d graphs and charts. It is, if I might be so bold, the most innovative user interface work that Microsoft has ever unleashed. Advantages: The best thing about Word it of course is the look and extra commands.     Disadvantages Disadvantages cost, lacking of essiential buttons on word by deafult, can be confusing

    It is quite different from the 97-2003 versions of Office and Excel, Access and Outlook are much more user friendly in this new package. Word has been completely re-designed , but has one or two major flaws. The standard toolbar/menu does not have printing options or save as. you have to add them yourself! Also the documentation and the saving window does not make it clear, that unless you save in 97-2003 format , no one other than those with Word 2007 will be able to read your document, unless they download a patch from Microsoft's web site! power point is the main disappointment, it look ... more

    Advantages Advantages On the whole MS Office 2007 Ultimate is very good

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Excel is no longer a chore because it was mentioned once in the top band

    PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, Groove, InfoPath et cetera (also included): I was delving into this, but they appear to have all the perks from other programs. I found Microsoft Office 2007 to be better than upgrading to office in 2003. I like the band and how to set from Word and Excel. They've added some good. I like in Outlook flag items ability to adjust to different colors. Word. What can I say?     Well i went from Office 2003 to this and it is in my opinion excellent, at first it can be a little confusing. if you use outlook for e mail then you have lots of options. MS word is very snazzy and easy to navigate as is the rest of MS Office. What you have to remember is dont be put off by advanced features, we change and so does technology and as a result so does software, if you stick with what you have now you will only need to learn it at a later date. All the commands are there, spend an hour looking at them and you will never think of previous versions. It is memory hungry, 1gb is ok ... more
