Ladies and Gentlemen introducing Mike Tyson Review with images

AdvantagesReal life story of heart and Emotion

DisadvantagesHe had the pottential to be the greatest of all time

"...and of course the great mike Tyson. Mike is easily one of the greatest fighters of all time and is possibly considered one of only the few people that could have beaten Ali in his hay day. This review isn't just about what kind of boxer Tyson was but what kind of person he was, most thought Tyson was a cruel insane man of his time and that he was just a plain vicious man but if you look underneath all the headlines and news bulletins all you will ..." Tysons boxing life

AdvantagesRead

DisadvantagesRead

"Background ~~~~ Mike Tyson, oh what could have been...or perhaps what should have been. As a boxing fan I will try and keep this to boxing, rather than the out of the ring troubles, and the problems he's had, as I'd rather remember him for what he did well. Theres many people who dislike Tyson's boxing, and others who loved it, but lets get it straight, Tyson after the death of Cus D'Amato was never the same again. The destructive puncher, stocky ..." Iron Mike Tyson Show

AdvantagesNever a dull moment.

DisadvantagesVoyeurism at its worst, people are waiting to see the final act of destruction.

"Anyone who's followed Tyson's career from the beginning, if they're honest, have to admit that he's never really proved himself to be one of the 'greats'. The old axiom is commonly accepted to be the marker of a great champion: to be the best you have to beat the best. Ali needed Foreman, Liston and Frazier; Leonard needed Hagler and Hearns and Robinson needed the likes of La Motta and a score of other great fighters. But, just who has Tyson beaten? ..." Mike -Destroying a great sport

Advantagesnone

Disadvantageskilling a sport

"So Mike Tyson has once again been let off by the sport of boxing following another display of his neanthedal tendency. If this man was not a boxer he would sure be serving time for the rest of his life by now. My question is how can this be good for boxing? The people who are earning off the back of Tyson seem to be as dense as he is. They are earning now but they are killing a sport that could have been the golden goose for years to come. Boxing ..." Rusty Iron

Advantages

Disadvantages

"Remeber when Iron Mike was the best fighter in the world by far? When the betting was not on whether he would win but in which of the first three rounds? He was amazing, and the primary reason was that his aggression was controlled. Cus D'amato, his trainer and father figure, channelled all Tyson's aggression into boxing, and what came out of that was a quick, agile fighter with several punches and nice combinations. Cus dies, Don King comes in, and ..." Read review

Now, who couldn't have beaten his last opponent

AdvantagesI'm sure i'll think off one soon .. maybe not

DisadvantagesMike Tyson

"Whilst it is perfectly understandable that Tyson would want to do as little as possible in the ring to fund his shopping trips to London, does anybody think that he should be taking on fighters of a slightly higher calibre. He hardly deserved payment for his destrcution of Julius 'the human punchbag' Francis, and his most recent opponent was so high profile that i can't even recall his name (incidentially, my only recollection of that fight is ..." Iron Mike Tyson

AdvantagesExplosive Power

DisadvantagesTime in Jail

"The best boxer I have seen in my generation. If only he had been managed properly, I believe he would still be unbeaten and the best boxer of alltime, the potential was there for all to see but he was easily led and got with the wrong people that ruined his career. He is not the same boxer now then he was, when he fights Lewis I believe he will be beaten because he hasn't got the right mental attitude that is needed to fight Lewis. The fear that ..." Whatever happened

Advantages

Disadvantages

"Mike Tyson will always be remembered as the fallen icon, a man so supremely talented who lost it, through a variety of influences. What the British public witnessed recently in glasgow was the shadow of a once great champion, his outrageous attempt to bite off the ear of Evander Holifield highlighted that this man no longer is mentally fit and healthy to step in the ring. The rules and regulations of this sport need serious work; how can a man so ..." Read review

Give it Up

Advantages

Disadvantages

"Mike Tyson was once known for is Boxing skills and i have to say he was a good boxer who earnt his place in Boxing history. Then he went and got himself into trouble with the law not once but several times. He went to prison and served his time and supposedly came out a reformed character who had found religion. It seemed also to make him something of a legend. You only have to look at his recent visits to London and Glasgow to see that he still has ..." Read review

He's Good, but not that good

AdvantagesA very hard puncher and very aggresive

DisadvantagesCan't take a hard punch

"Mike Tyson goes by the name of "Iron" Mike Tyson and there's a valid reason, he punches like he's got an iron in his gloves. He is one of the most feared boxers ever to have graced the boxing ring but he is also one of the most dis-resectful fighter's to enter it. His last fight against the massive Dane Brian Nielson was a cool, calm and calculated fight from Tyson's point of view. He seemed to pace himself well considering he weighed his biggest ..." He is still pure iron

AdvantagesHe is strong mentally and physically, is intimidating to opponents and is deadly on the attack.

DisadvantagesA bit slow, but it doesn't matter!

"...his past history, i believe Mike Tyson is still the greatest heavyweight boxer today. Many would compare him to Muhammed Ali, and they'd be right! Although he is not as quick as he was before he went to prison, he has, if anything, become more physically and mentally strong. We saw, five years ago, Mike Tyson build up for his biggest fight since he left prison, against Frank Bruno. Everyone in England was saying how Fank was much the better fighter ..." Read review

DONT MAKE ME LAUGH

AdvantagesStill quite capable

DisadvantagesRunning scared

"So, 'Iron' Mike thinks that he can beat Lennox Lewis and win back the heavyweight title does he? Don't make me laugh! Tyson has ben running scared of Lewis for the last year, fighting and crushing mediocre boxers to try and prove a point to him. Lewis has done no such thing, fighting boxers of high quality that could actually threaten a fly, such as Tua. The way in which Lennox has disposed of boxers such as Tua has proved that he is deservedly in ..." Read review

The Noble Art???

AdvantagesVery few.

DisadvantagesPlenty.

"...Hamden Park, Glasgow where 'Iron' Mike Tyson was fighting (I use the term very loosely) a fellow American Lou Saverese as top of the bill was nothing short of disgraceful. The 'fight' was over after 38 seconds and then we were subjected to the referee being manhandled and ignored by Tyson after attempting to stop the 'fight'. When eventually things died down we were again subjected to a tyrade of abuse from a man who has undoubtedly become severely ..." Read review

He should of been in hannibal but...

AdvantagesTHE BEST

Disadvantagesnone

"...he will tear lennox apart. Mike has the advantage of being smaller than lewis. Although lennox is flying the flag for Engalnd i think tyson deserves to win. I dont know much about boxing but i hope if the two do fight that it is decided by knockout. Knowing tyson it will be. I dont belief tyson was ever guilty for hsi crimes and i hope now he can prove to teh world he is one of the best boxers the world has ever seen. GOOD LUCK MIKE!!!!!!! ..." Read review

get out!!

Advantagesused to be good

DisadvantagesControversial, violent

"maybe he was once a good boxer, but he is now a shadow of his former self. he causes trouble wherever he goes, and it is brilliant that he has now retires apparently. He is such a violent person, not the person you want to meet down a dark alleyway. he always causes controversy- road rage, punching below the belt, biting Holyfield's ear, punching the referee, punching after the bell etc. he is ruining boxing for the rest, particularly Lennox Lewis ..."
