Advantages Advantages Easy to play, the sky is the limit

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Graphics

Let me start out by saying, I'm not a gamer. In any sense of the word. In fact the Xbox 360 belongs to my partner and the only reason this game was downloaded was because we'd heard a bit about it and when the trial came up on it our 3 year old thought it looked good, so we downloaded the trial and we are all hooked! Gameplay/playability In all honesty it's nothing special! There's no storyline, but you have free reign over it. The sky is the limit - literally. It's like Sims, in the sense, you can build what you want, there's only 1 character, which is yours unless you go on multiplayer (I ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Graphics could be better, Maximum of only eight players in a game

Introduction Welcome to my review for Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition, Minecraft XBox 360 Edition is devolved by Mojang and 4J Studios. It was released for the PC on November 18th 2011, then following on Android October 7th 2011, iOS on November 17th 2011 then finally on the Xbox 360 on May 9th 2012. Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition is not a direct port from the PC version it's currently a toned down version. It has the main basic parts of the original PC version but not all of the features. Think of it has Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition rather than a direct port that way you wont be disappointed if you have ... more

4 Stars Minecraft (Xbox) Review Review with images 25/11/2012

Advantages Advantages The Core gameplay is still ver addictive, crafting system rocks!

Disadvantages Disadvantages still missing a few things from the Pc, the world could be bigger

Have you ever played Minecraft on the PC and thought I wish this was on Xbox? Well now you can minecraft has come on the xbox as an arcade game. Sorry to PS3 Users, they haven't made one for the PS3. Anyway the game still has the same essence of what makes minecraft so unique and absorbing to gamers. Everything still starts as soon as you spawn in the world. You start as normal punching trees, digging underground to mine resources like coal and iron, forging tools, battling creepers and monsters and also building to your heart's content-or not. Minecraft solo is great, but online seems more ... more

Advantages Advantages Endless possibilities, great fun, multi-player and cheap to buy!

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can lag quite a bit on Multiplayer.

This game is fantastic, even though it is so simple! It's a game of freedom, to do whatever you want, whatever you want to build. There is no limits to what you can achieve. Build whatever you want, whether it is your favourite character from a game, or your house, this game is what your mind chooses to be. Minecraft XBOX lets you play multi-player, allowing you and other people to share the same world, so you can show off your amazing idea's with each other! The developers are always updating, thinking of new ways to make this game better, as if it isn't good enough! The graphics are ... more

Advantages Advantages fun, easy to play, relaxed

Disadvantages Disadvantages could benifit from more features

In my opinion this game is well worth the cost. Very fun, I sit down to have a "quick" game and end up glued to the screen for hours. I prefer this game to most other games I have in my collection. Very enjoyable. It has a very simple gameplay, mine a block and place it somewhere. However this simple gameplay is what makes it so much fun. You can sit back and relax while you mine, make and build. If you can imagine it you can build it. It is lacking some of the features of the pc version, however these may be added in later updates as some features have already been added. Overall I would rate ... more

Advantages Advantages 4 players one screen, great for parties, easy for the whole family.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Texture Packs!!!!!!

I have been playing Minecraft since it came out on pc. I was really excited that they were releasing a console verison, I waited for awhile before getting it, I knew it would update alot and was hoping to get it once it caught up to pc. If you are thinking about getting it and have tried the pc version I suggest getting it. It may not be updated yet but it still makes the game fun. You get to feel the old version again. The controller makes it even better, no more having to ask permission to join a server that turns out to be stupid. You add friends and join there games and if you feel like ... more
