...You can use any Minolta autofocus lens with the 505si Super, giving you a wide choice for all situations. There are also independent lens manufacturers such as Tamron, Sigma and Tokina who make Minolta-fit lenses which are a little cheaper than Minolta own-brand. You can stick an accessory flashgun on to the camera for improved flash performance and to help reduce red-eye in people shots. The built-in flash pops up when the camera thinks it’s necessary ... ...Portrait. These modes use what Minolta regard as the best settings for these types of shots, leaving you to concentrate on taking the perfect picture. Some people like them, some don’t.
