...i was quite dissapointed with Mirrors edge. After playing the demo i thought it had the potential to be a really fun experience. Being a video game fanatic (the type who rarely see the outdoors, it is a scary place) i feel i have earned the right to judge, or at least moan. Mirrors edge is a very good take on free running and with it stylish graphics, use of colour and arty cut scenes makes for a very entertaining game. This was a very good and creative game. Well that is, within the plot line. The graphics were ok but it really lacked colour within it and the ability to use weaponry i feel slightly ruined the game. This game was very well made and thought through however, it could have benefitted greatly by haveing a longer story line. The ability to go back and do a time trial of every level i felt was pointless unless you are completely obsessed with gamerscore. ...

I did not at any point find the game repetitive and never found the game TOO easy. There are also a range of achievements both hard and easy to complete although the main negative point is the online play.
