...no car is invincible but mitsubishi are difinately having a good go at it.
Aside from accelleration of 0 - 62mph in 4.4 seconds (it needs clearence from air traffic controll to set off!!!) (which is unbelievable for a 2.0 engine) the car brakes from 60 - 0mph in 2.9 seconds so the brakes are definately set up to handle the cars immense power.
To Sum up the evo is an amazing car to drive and to look at on the outside it is mean stylish and beautiful ...

When my partner first said he was buying an evo, my first question was "what's one of those then?" to which i was told it was the daddy to the subaru - oh right that all makes sense then!! Of course I was then sat down and shown pictures along with an explanation of how wonderful this car is. This will be the 6th car my partner has had in the last two years, I should be used to it by now, i don't think he'll be happy until he's owned every car ever ... ...have to say i was quite impressed, being a four door saloon it is a big car that the family can sit in comfortably with a huge boot but at the same time it has the power to please the boy racer in my partner when he's on his own and i've never seen so many heads turn as you drive past. The drive is superb and confess that although i said that i never would, i have driven the car and it is very smooth and being a 4 wheel drive it handles really well.

...26, has just brought a Mitsubishi Evolution Lancer. Its a lovely deep blue, its not like most though. Basically its not standard. Me and my mate went to his girlfriends 21st birthday. He got slashed and he was meant to stay at my brothers flat. My brother Dave already left. His girlfriend asked me to drive them to Dave's flat and they'd pay for me to get a taxi home.
I was expecting to be driving him home in a small Nissan Micra, but instead the ... ...The next day, I phoned Mitsubishi and asked them to send me out the brochure and specs on this model. The thing that didn't really suprise me but, well, did. was the prices and costs of the car. It does 16.2mpg, which as we all know, he likes his coca-cola. That can be well heavy on the wallet. Lets put this into perspective shall we . . . You can pay £120K for a new Ferrari 360 Modena and what do you get? 400BHP or so, some cheapo alloys that they claim cost a million pounds, a shoddy looking fibre bodykit, and to be fiar, a pretty nice interior and of course that itallian prancing horse that brings the italian spirit with it . . . but in this country with its weather and speed limits means little - its all a bit gay really!
Or you can ... ...FQ-330 and what do you get? A car that holds the road immsensely and with ease, a 328BHP turbo charged engine, nifty sports alloys and a damn fine and aggressive looking exterior - and to be honest an interior which is comfy and considerably refined considering it is from Japan!
And lets consider - in England what do you want? Italian spirit or pure throurgh bred Japanese grunt that will take you from 0-62mph .1 of a second quicker than that awfully ...

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 - FQ330.......... If your looking for something pretty special, which really in money terms isnt a lot compared to performance of cars in this category, its good value for money.... For the initial outlay for the car anyway.
The FQ330 option, is named this due to the performance of the car. 330bhp. There was also 2 other options, the FQ300 ( with 300bhp ) and later on the Mitsubish Lancer Evolution 8 MR FQ400 ( ... ...in at approx 3.5k revs. Similar performace car would be a Subaru WRX STi ( which is also actually more expensive than the Evo ) However there seem to be a lot of Subarus, or should I say, 'Scooby Doo's' out on the road these days, so the Evo is an alternative to be that little bit different. You wont see swarms of them on a normal day, out and about, where as you will now see plenty of people driving around in a Subaru.

I have a black Evo 8 FQ300 and it is quick!
Looks cool, big enough if you have a family!
Insurance isn't too bad I have mine with a well know supermarket and it is about £1000 a year (was paying £900 for civic type R)
Downside is: needs servicing every 4500 miles and average service costs about £150 major service is about £400. Car prefers to be run on Super unleaded/Optimax or 100ron if you can get hold of it. Can take normal unleaded however ... ...I also suffer quite a bit with the battery going flat if it hasn't been run for a couple of days.
Smooth ride, turns heads!
I have also had the car de-cat and the performance is quite a bit better and the sound of the car is 110% better.
If you are going to but one of these make sure you check it out fully. if you are buying 2nd hand make sure the car has all service stamps and check with garage. If buying brand new - go to the dealer then you ...

...or sotheing like that but mitsubishi lancer evolution. it's one the top car of it's class when you drive this car it's seems like riding a rockets, powerfull engine with almost 300hp makes you faster then light, and with car like this you could be the coolsest guy or girl in neighborhood or in town. it has very good disine, i mean, not too pour, but not to fancy, it has the agresive look, but at the same time it is very beutefull. i don't know what ... ...and the cost of the car is pritty impressive. also you should consider that it's a sports car, so it's probobly one of the worst cars to go on a long rode trip with the whole fmily. SO i say mitsubishi is one of the best presenters of it's class. ...

Quite simply, save your cash and get this absolute beast of a car. I went for a track day and drove an Impreza and an Evo 8 recently. Without doubt, the Evo was hands down the best car I have ever driven.
What the Impreza doesn't deliver (which, admittedly doesn't leave much!), the Evo delivers by the ton. Whereas the Impreza is a point and click car - in that no matter where you've pointed the steering wheel, if you hit the gas, it will just go ... ...the Evo 8 in my experience, demands your respect. It demands that you know how to drive in order to get the maximum performance out of it, and when you do push it to it's limits, the reward is so much greater than the short lived fun you'll ever get out of throwing your Scoobie round country lanes. The Evo is the decerning mans choice, classy and modest, sleek and subtle, the Impreza is the boy racers choice, loud and aggressive, grunting and blazay. ...

it is a super car not just on the rally tracks but on road aswell it handles like a dream all the onboard computers wont let go of the road even with 1 wheel in the air. boot space is good spacious enough rear seats if u had a baby. Its a tough old car and will last a good time. the aerodynamic sonic the hedge hog spikes keep it in line despite these weird looks it is a hansome fast car to look at.
the engines come in 320BHP,340BHP,and 380BHP also ... ...model can reach 0-60 in 3.5 seconds which is faster than a aston martin and pagani zonda this is due to the very close gear ratio its top speed is 175mph which is why i have called this the family f1 car cos it is a family car it has all the space for ur child and everything u need.The bad thing about this is the huge turbo lag which is a shame because if u aint in the right gear at the right time ull be left in everyone elses dust but besides this ...

This beautiful piece of engineering, with its 4 cylinder, 16v DOHC turbo engine, is everything anyone with any sense would dream of owning. Unfortunately, i can't drive, but when i pass that test and win the lottery, this is the car for me. 261 bph's worth of driving excellence. Having been driven around in one during a test drive, i can quite honestly say that this is THE car for those who like to go fast. Much more practical than a ferrari (and ... ...for the insurance (group 20D), but still enough to keep the little boy racers out of them. Although buying one brand new is a little pricey, around £32k if you want a good one, you can pick them up second-hand for a good enough price!! Another drawback is that Mits recommend a service every 6 months (but if you love your baby, you won't care!) One day, i WILL have one. And for those with kids, there's plenty of space for them too, so there's no worries ...

Advantages: This really is a beatiful car, with extraordinary power and is a fairly rare car, harnessing so much power into a five seater car. Disadvantages: although this car is almost flawless, there are some minor downpoints, such as fuel consumption in some models.

Great car beats the subaru hands down, if you want a good rally car this is the one for you!!! The speed is amazing with quick gear changing this car can up up to speeds of 160 MPH and is very easy tunable. The car can come in a range of colours so pesonal choice can be good.
