Mitsubishi Space Wagon 2.4

Tim or that's what my wife called the car was with us for about 4.5 years and it was a shame to see the oldish car go. Before we chose the car we test drove the Renault Espace, Chrysler Grand Voyager, Ford Galaxy and looked at the VW Sharan. The Espace was a little long in the tooth but was the cheapest option but in our opinion had the worst drive. The Chrysler was great loads of mod-cons but at a price it was almost 40% more than it's competitors and significantly larger making it feel more like you were driving a bus. My partner and I recently purchased a Space Wagon 2.4 GDi.and we are so glad that we did! After deciding to get rid of our convertable and get more of a 'family' car so we could transport the kids and be 'responsible' adults. We spent months searching Ebay and used car sites to find the perfect mpv that still looked stylish but also had enough room to fit in 5 kids + all their toys etc! this was the first opinion I wrote and I have now had the car for nearly 9 months so I thought I would update my thoughts on it and add a bit more detail. I am still managing to average approx 30 miles to the gallon even though most of my journeys are a round trips to and from work of about 12 miles. As the hot weather has started to approach I have found the air conditioning very useful and I haven't found it has affected the petrol consumption much, which some people had said it would.
