I used to buy Mizz until I was 12, when I began to 'grow out' of it. It is a girl's magazine aimed at pre to early teens - about 10-13yrs old. The magazine has been running for a relatively long time. Mizz is good for a particular age group looking for an 'all-round' offering. It contains a few pages on celebrity gossip, one or two interviews with celebs/tv personalities per issue, horoscopes, cringes, a bit on fashion and basic beauty, problem ...

The features are on topics which are very relevant to the age group but are often too short or not detailed enough - I always used to feel a bit cheated on some of them, you only got a taster of a topic you would have liked to know more about. It's good for some celebrity stuff mixed with interesting articles, features and just plain girlie things. As teen magazines go, Mizz is one of the better ones. It is aimed at the younger end of the teenage market, and this is reflected in the contents of the magazine. Rather than focussing on boys and sex, like most teen mags, Mizz wants to promote happy, healthy individual teenage girls.
