Some time ago I received a luxurious Molton Brown boxed gift set and this was one of quite a number of bath and shower products within the box. - Price and Packaging - My bottle is only 100ml and part of a gift box so I’m not sure how much a little bottle like this would be. However the 300ml bottle on the Molton Brown website is £16. I received this as a present from my parents this christmas and how excited was I? I adore Molton Brown items in general and this is one I had been recommended by a friend who also favours their products. Still trying to use up all the mini Molton Brown products I received in a gift set, I now move onto their Yuan Zhi shower gel. As you may know from my previous reviews, I’ve found Molton Brown products are nice, but generally the quality does not match the expensive price tag. I always look forward to using Molton Brown products, their luxurious range of body care shower and bath gels are a little bit special and are used by leading hotel and airlines as courtesy gifts. The one and only time I have flown buisness transatlantic with B.A. I was given a smart little goody bag full of Molton Brown products. In the past I have had a bad experience with Molton Brown as I wrote quite a negative review about their Black Pepper 'Recharge' shower gel that I recieved as a gift some time ago. When I recieved the Molton Brown Relaxing Yuan Zhi Bath and Shower Gel I were unsure as to whether I would get on with the product, but part of was looking forward to find out if it was the brand or that particular variety that disagrees with me. When I began writing this review, my first peice of research was to find our what yuan zhi is/means. Somethng deep and meaningful - surely? But according to google he's a Chinese volleyball player. Now I don't know if this bath and shower gel is named after him, but I'm guessing probably not. A little further research told me that yuan zhi is in fact a wild plant from South China that is used to balance energy and soothe the spirit.
