    Advantages Advantages Excellent mid range sets these speakers apart from its peers

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Hard to find anything to grumble about especially at this sort of price

    Looking for a way to improve upon and upgrade from my trusty Cambridge Audio S30s I went along to Sevenoaks HiFi shop for an audition. After trying B & W 685s and CM1s we got to the Monitor Audio RX1. Although auditioning in a shop is not really ideal I decided on the last one as it showed promise and bit better integrated woofer and tweeter wise. I ordered a pair in walnut which arrived 10 days later. Well, they looked absolutely gorgeous in this sumptuous real wood finish and they looked evenmore expensive than the £425 paid. Great!
