When you first put this product on, it feels really weird. You apply it to wet skin and it immediately starts heating up and does feel quite hot indeed - but not uncomfortable. It contains red clay and when it heats up, it is supposed to remove deep rooted impurities, clear excess oils and cleanse pores - and it does.
