Advantages: Does Its Intended Job Disadvantages: Not Such A Pleasant Smell
...am writing a review on Morning Fresh washing Up Liquid because as a rule I usually like to pay a little bit more for my detergent as I believe that the cheaper brands are just watered down and you always end up using twice as much of the stuff. Anyway last week I found myself purchasing a 750ml bottle of Morning Fresh because it was the only brand left on the shelf and my pots in the sink were in danger of reaching the ceiling.

The ... ...a much better bargain.
Morning Fresh Washing Up Liquid is available in smaller 500ml bottles and is also available in different flavours to accompany the Zesty Lemon, these being varieties called Oxygen and Wildflower as well the Original variety. Having never tried any of these I'm afraid I can't comment on these further. The Smell
One thing that I wasn't too impressed with was the smell. The smell was definitely of Lemon but it was not very sharp ...

Normally we stick to the more expensive brands of washing-up liquid, that is either Persil or Fairy, but my wonderful cost-conscious husband saw this for 63p, and as we were running low of our normal brand he decided to pick up a bottle. The bottle is clear and transparent with a green flip top lid at the top. The one my husband bought was a special offer one with 50% extra free, 750ml for the price of 500ml and it cost an amazingly cheap 66p in Wilkinson. You can however pay up to a pound for the same product in other stores.

...the other week I spotted Morning Fresh on offer at two 500ml bottles for 99 pence. After a smidgens deliberation time coupled with the fact that they didn’t have any of my usual Lemon Fairy, into my trolley went two bottles of Morning Fresh Zesty Lemon. ...these criteria, and that is Morning Fresh washing up liquid.
Made by Cussons, Morning Fresh comes in three different kinds - original, zesty lemon, and anti-bacterial. I have not tried 'zesty lemon' or 'anti-bacterial', so can only tell you about the original kind.
I first came across Morning Fresh Original several years ago. I wanted a change from my usual make, so thought I'd give it a try. And I'm really pleased I did...

On the bottle it says that Morning Fresh contains real citrus extracts, but this is not immediately evident from the smell. To me, it just smells like a strange concoction of chemicals. However, as they say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, or in this case, in the washing up. When I first bought ...

Advantages: Helps wash dirty dishes for a great price Disadvantages: Only comes in one sized bottle
I first bought Morning Fresh when it was on a promotion in which I got 750ml for the price of 500ml, and since then it has been my preferred brand of washing-up liquid.
It is a brand from Cussons, who are a well-known household name, and mainly focus on personal care, their most famous brands being Imperial Leather and Carex. Coming from such a popular brand, you might expect it to be among the most expensive on the shelves, but it is significantly ... ...don't get this problem with Morning Fresh. I find that just a small amount of liquid added to the water can last for a whole dinners-worth of washing up. It claims to have a 'Triple Action', - 'Cleans - Real citrus extract proven to cut through grease

Freshens - A burst of freshness brings a breath of fresh air to the kitchen.'
I will wholeheartedly agree with the cleaning aspect; it cleans ...

Background
=========
Morning Fresh is made by PZ Cussons, who are well known for brands such as Imperial Leather and Carex to name but a few.

The Product

...me Fairy, but returned with Morning Fresh, it seemed to cost around £1.00 give or take a few pence, I screwed my face up at the idea of not having my usual washing up liquid, but I had to make do.
Description

On the bottle it states this is a Cussons product and it ... ...and freshens.
Some of the ingrediants include:
15- 30% anionic surfactants
less than 5% amphoteric surfactants
Perfume (among others)
First use
I first used the product and was pleasently surprised with the results, after squeezing a small amount into the sink, I was surprised to see that there was actually bubbles, the odour is also quite nice and not too strong, it smells of lemon cest.
I was unsure of this product at first, but it turned ...

This washing up liquid is made by Cussons who make a lot of soap products. Morning fresh is available in a lot of supermarkets. In Tesco the 500ml bottle cost 68p, which is a little cheaper than Fairy.

...best brand I've found is Morning Fresh, this is made by Cussons and theres a few different sorts -origanal (the green one) antibacterial (good stuff when you've got older little people like me and your getting a bit lazy and fed up of sterilizing everything) the bright yellow lemon one (smells like lemon but not that stong) It's very good compared to the really cheap an nasty brands which while may seem a good idea when you buy them are no good, ... ...as long trying to get the yukky ickky stuff off the plates- the cheap 'n' nasty ones usually leave my hands feeling dry and itchy and nasty too. This washing-up liquid is part of the Cussons group. I paid 54p for a 500ml bottle. The scent is lemon and lime and contains real citrus extract.
It is powerful at cutting grease, and you only need to use a small amount in your washing up bowl to get maximum effect on both your hands and dishes. I found it to be soft and gentle on my skin, although it does state on the bottle to avoid prolonged contact if you have damaged or sensitive skin.
Amongst ... ...less than 5% nonionic surfactants. I'm not sure how much of the liquid contains actual lime and lemon extracts, but even a small amount is better than nothing!
The smell is quite strong, and the smell of lemons does, I find, overpower the limes. It's a refreshing smell that, after washing-up, does leave a pleasant smell in your kitchen, and on your dishes.

Advantages: Works well, cheap as OWN BRAND stuff, smells nice Disadvantages: none so far
Living above the family's grocery store, I don't normally need to nip out to buy things like this, but one week a few years ago while my Dad was having to keep spending on stock to a minimum, I ended up having to do so. Past choiches having been restrict to Fairy liquid, HAPPY SHOPPER own brand + "Squezy", and the Ecover stuff i covered in a previous review. I'd plonk this one as the 2nd best of these after Fairy.... Happy shopper 3rd, Squezy 4th ... ...people who make imperial leather soap + carex handwash, etc. The colour is the pretty much bog-standard green colour, though a slightly brighter shade than the others..... there's also an anti-bacterial version in blue. The standard green one also has a sort of lemon / lime zesty smell to it, unlike other green washing-up liquids. The Blue Anti-bacterial one (been a few weeks since i used it) from what i recall smelled pretty much the same as CAREX ...

...Liquid’ it has to be Morning Fresh, I seldom use anything other than say Fairy Liquid or Morning Fresh. Morning Fresh is just as good as Fairy Liquid, it comes in lemon flavour and actually works when you do your washing up. It’s nice on your hands, and you can rely on it, to clean the dishes.

I've used Morning Fresh Lemon and Lime Concentrate for at least 3 years now and swear by it. It cleans very well - even in cold water I find. It leaves dishes smelling really clean - although whether it really is lemon AND lime I couldn't say.
