When I was given these straighteners for Christmas 2006 at first I was really disappointed. I wanted ghds! However, after a while I discovered that these were as good as ghds, better in some ways even. The cordless straighteners come in two parts, the base, with a pug and long lead and the actual straighteners. They are black and nice looking. I bought these straighteners about 6 months ago and was amazed at how much easier they are to use than previous ones. I have extremley long hair and it used to take up to an hour, however as they are cordless and the plates are so thick it takes me a maximum of 10 minutes now. I really was fed up of getting tangled in the lead of my hair straighteners and trying to find a mirror close enough to a power point so I bought these cordless straighteners on ebay. I find that they are really easy to use and the ceramic plates do a really good job and taming my frizzy mop. Because they're cordless they're really easy to manoeuvre too.
