    I have tryed for a while to find a decent tea maker, well i have have now . The first thing that atracted me to his tea maker was its design. it modern robust and elegant, light weight aswell, i have to say this isn't my first tea maker but it could well be my last it is so easy to use, that when my nan comes over i put it in her room and even she can use it.. she won't even use videos yet. i feel at 50 pounds its great value for money as it never seems to run out and tastes great.     I am quite a lazy person and have always wanted a tea maker by the bed so if I have a lie in on a saturday morning i can easily get my tea and get ready for the day ahead! Well after looking at a number of options I settled for the morphy richards 43580, a stunning little number in chrome and black, as you can see from the photograph. It cost me around £50 from tesco extra and comes with an inbuilt clock / alarm with snooze function and timing device, as well as making 2 hot drinks, inbuilt radio and a removable drip tray.     Disadvantages Disadvantages noisy, not enough capacity, flawed design.

    When I first tried this, I could not get it to work. I found out that although it is not mentioned in the manual, there is a switch underneath the drip tray which is supposed to detect whether the cups are in place or not. On mine, this was not working until I refitted the drip tray cover upside down. This allowed enough movement to get the switch to activate and hence brew some drinks. The other big flaw with this is is the design of the water reservoir. It's long and flat, with overflow holes at either end (again, not documented in the manual, and not readily spotted).
