Morphy Richards 47008 MR Cappuccino

I bought this in a spur of the moment "i need a coffee maker and it can't wait" decision. It was the best size available as i have a kitchen with limited space i didn't want one with an espresso maker on as well, i also needed one that looked easy to clean, e.g. no fiddly parts. The milk frother uses a whisk rather than steam to froth it, so there isn't the chance of scalding, but i did forget to turn the hot plate off for the milk and had a bit of trouble cleaning the burnt milk out of the jug, but i've not forgotten it since. I have owned 2 cappuccino makers in the past, and both have made a lovely cup of coffee with a good depth of flavour, but the frother has eventually stopped working on both and I have had to make do with a tasty, but not frothy, cup of coffee. We bought this coffee maker at Christmas time as our old one had broken. We chose it as it was reasonably priced and looked fairly simple to use. The milk frother is brilliant although we don't often use it. Making coffee is easy although the one thing that is annoying is pouring the water in the top, You have to tip the machine back as the jug lid gets in the way. I am sure there is an easier way! I picked this machine because I wanted a good reliable and simple coffee machine. I loved the idea to have a milk frother and still a compact design. The milk frother works well, but you have to stay close or you'll burn the milk pretty quickly. I wanted a nice coffee machine that didnt take forever to make or doesnt need building up. I would recommend this product as Im very pleased with it. So far it has not failed me and it makes hot coffee and keeps it hot! For a great surprise it also creates frothy milk which i LOVE! before buying this machine i only drank cold coffee made using granuals and cold water from the tap. although this tasted nice it always had bits in it. now that i have this machine my coffee is smooth hot and tasty! you should buy this because it will revolutionise the way you drink your daily fix of cafiene! one downside to this is the hot liquid that is expelled from the unit, you should be careful to ensure you wear gloves whilst drinking this ...
