Advantages: Freshly baked bread! Disadvantages: Tad expensive, takes a while to make a lof
I've got a new man in my kitchen, he sits there. All glistening think curves and pretty features. And when he goes to work he mixes and kneads and pummels to my heart content. Unfortunately he's not my personal masseuse but my lovely Fastbake Breadmaker!
Occasionally I get fixated on certain items and this Crimbo it was a breadmaker, I couldn't have dropped any more hints if I had 'I want a breadmaker' tattooed on my forehead! As it was I ended ...

Advantages: Wonderful smells, lovely bread Disadvantages: Takes a while to make
I purchased my Morphy Richards fastbake bread machine well over a year ago now. When I first got it i thought it was the best thing since...erm...sliced bread! It never had a minutes peace and was on the go around the clock. Now days its still gets used on a somewhat regular basis, mainly once or twice a fortnight. Like lots of those kitchen things after a while they aren't a novelty anymore. However I would still reccomend it as it makes a lovely ...

Advantages: Well used, bakes your perfect loaf many settings available Disadvantages: Need to use exact measurements, not quiet in use expensive ingredients
When bread makers first hit the market they were very expensive and the price put me off buying one. Five years ago belling were selling their breadmaker for £150. I always liked the smell of yeast and unsliced bread.
Now competition has increased and like myself more people are finding space in their kitchens for one as they have come down in price and now they are being sold for £40 to £50.
I first bought mine about a year ago for £59 from ...

Advantages: Very Simple to use Disadvantages: Recipes require some adjusting
I purchased this breadmaker for slighty under £50.00, and have been impressed the results I have acheived. Other more "complicated" models are on the market, but all I wanted to do was make a bread loaf. A Non stick bread pan is present, together with measuring cup and spoon.
The bread pan can be used to make either a 1 or 1 1/2 pound loaf, I always make the larger one as the bread gets eaten so quickly. Most supermarkets sell the required ingredients, ...

Advantages: great tasting home-made bread, great smell Disadvantages: Takes a while to cook
...breadmaker I would like (the Morphy Richards Fastbake was not my chosen breadmaker). Nan bought the suggested breadmaker and put to one side until Crhistmas. However on keep looking at this breadmaker (she buys some time before the event) she decided she would also like one, so grandad was sent off to buy a breadmaker for nan. However he came back with a different make which nan thought looked complicated, and hence she asked me if I would swap with ...

Advantages: Bread contains no additives. Differnent types of bread can be made also Jam. Disadvantages: quite difficult to get the bread out without getting burnt. Takes 3 hours to bake
I purchased the Fastbake breadmaker as a Mothering in Sunday present this year.
Although my mum finds it quite enjoyable making the bread it involves time and expense of the ingredients.
The bread itself takes 3 hours to bake and only makes a loaf around 7 inches long.
It is extremely difficult to remove the bread from the hot bread tray without burning yourself
It also takes up as much space as a microwave so be sure you have accounted for this ...
