Morphy Richards 6.5L Slow Cooker

I recently bought something that I swore I would never buy as I meant I was turning into my mother, gosh, shock, horror!! I bought a slow cooker. We have one of these in the kitchen but have really only used it on a couple of occasions. This is not because it is not good or anything of that nature, it is simply because we do not really know what to cook in it - other appliances seem to be far better and more convenient than a slow cooker. The main thing we tend to use it for is stews as it can easily cook them without burning like other methods do. The build of the slow cooker is great.
