It is 2000w which is more powerful then the others i looked at and the power cord is 4.6m long which is a decent length. I read the manuel first and it is very easy to use and very straight forward. I did a lot of research before choosing this little gadget. I could have gone for one of the larger (and much more expensive) ones but thought that as a steam-clean-novice I should start small. Firstly I bought it on ebay which is always a good start. It cost me just over £40 (inc P and P).
