Advantages Advantages Cheaper than leading brands.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages A Little Inferior.

When my baby was newborn I was very good and only ever used cotton wool and water for each nappy change, this is not sufficient for an eight month old, no matter what the Health Visitors say, so I now use baby wipes. They are all the same aren't they? Baby wipes, I mean. Well, most of you that have read other reviews of mine will know that I usually do my shopping on-line at Tesco.com, but the other day I popped into Morrisons to top-up on fresh food and forgotten items, one of these being baby wipes. Now, I normally go for Pampers or Huggies, depending on which one happens to have a special ... more

Advantages Advantages Best store brand wipe available, competitively priced.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not quite as effective as "brand" names.

Morrison's Baby Wipes are one of many "store brand" wipes we have tried over the years. Prior to purchasing these we have been largely disappointed. They often turn out to be flimsy, dry and non-absorbent compared to their "branded" competitors so it was with a little cynicism and trepidation that we tried the Morrison's brand. After all how many times do I have to put my fingers through a wipe into poo before I spend the extra few quid on Johnson's or Huggies? Morrison's Baby Wipes come in a disposable rectangular pack of eighty for £1.89, which is cheaper than big name brands such as ... more

Advantages Advantages Soft, gentle, work well, cheap

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

Whenever the grandchildren come and stay I work my way through many packets of wipes as they are forever needing sticky fingers wiping! I have become fed up of spending over £2 for a packet of Johnson's and Huggies and have been starting to shop around trying to find cheaper ones. Now the grandchildren are here for Christmas I have just bought these Morrison's wipes and I am very pleased with them so far. The wipes What is nice about these wipes is that they come in a packet with a plastic lid which is easy to reseal unlike other baby wipes which don't have a plastic lid. It is easy to open ... more

Advantages Advantages Great value, and strong durable wipes

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not the best, but a great substitute

As a parent of a three year I am sure that all parents can sympathise with the fact that baby wipes are an essential, yes a necessity for being a parent. I always seem to have endless packs on the go - wipes in my bag, the pushchair, the car, each bathroom and then a few packs lying around for those just in case moments. Due to this I find that baby wipes can be an expensive necessity. I wanted to find a brand that provided the right balance between quality and price. My son has excema, so I really didn't want to use scented baby wipes if I could avoid it. We have been doing our shopping at ... more

Advantages Advantages So cheap it's unreal

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not moist enough for me

Despite being childless, there is usually a packet of baby wipes in my shopping trolley every couple of weeks. Why? For my face of course! I use baby wipes to take off make up, or just to clean my face at the end of the day. I have been known to use them to give myself a quick freshen up if I am just nipping out early, to save time by skipping a shower until I get home again. I generally buy own brands, and decided to give these a go when I saw they were only 18p. They come in a rather sunny and cheerful bright yellow packet, with the usual small opening and resealable sticky tab (which is ... more

Advantages Advantages Nice smelling, moist, price, packaging with lid, multiple uses, great value for money

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not very thick, not very 'green'

*** Review of Morrisons Fragranced Baby Wipes - not the value wipes *** I usually find myself buying leading brands when it comes to baby wipes (Johnsons and Pampers mainly) but am not particularly loyal to them and often try out new and different wipes. Recently whilst shopping in Morrisons I picked up a pack of 80 Morrisons fragranced baby wipes, so here goes... Packaging The wipes come in a light blue packet, with a picture of a cute animated baby on the front. They look unisex and although they are quite basic, they also look quite nice. The best part of the packet is that it has a plastic ... more

    Advantages Advantages cheap

    Disadvantages Disadvantages pretty thin

I bought these wipes the other week. As I have mentioned in a couple of other posts I have recently joined a Gym. So far I have not decided to venture into the showers there - but this is because I go straight home after using the Gym and I just don't see the point in getting out my clothes and changing into fresh ones when I can go home all yukky feeling and go into my own shower therefore not having to cart all this stuff along with me. Although I just go from locker room to car to house it may sound odd but I just like to give myself a little wipe in places with some wipes so that I don't ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheaper than big brands, Good quality product

Disadvantages Disadvantages Only available at Morrisons

I have been a very regular user and purchaser of baby wipes since the birth of my little girl, some 18 months ago. Always on the look out for a bargain I recently tried Morrison’s own brand Non Fragranced Wipes. Now I am not averse to paying more for quality, and appreciate that baby wipes are god’s gift to parents, but with premium brands such as Pampers and Huggies charging in the region of 3.50 to 4.00 per pack decided to give these ago. ***The Pack*** The pack I purchased was the non-fragranced version. I chose these because the last pack of shops own perfumed variety I bought were Asda’s ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

Morrison's baby wipes the first thing I'm going to say is recently the product has changed, the packaging is no longer bright yellow, it is now a white packet with blue writing on. It is very basic. The wipes used to be priced at 17p but have recently been put up to the price of a whopping 46p! I use these wipes for everything! They have improved a lot since the previous upgrade and I feel they are worth the extra money. There are 72 in the packet and I always have a couple of packets lying round the house, as well as some on the kids bags and more in the cupboard. I have used these wipes with ... more

Wipes, wipes, everywhere Baby wipes - the essential product of every parent! I have packs in my daughter's room, a pack in the dining room, a pack in the car and another pack always gets slipped into my bag when we're out and about. So all in all, baby wipes can be an expensive business! Bargain pack So when I saw these wipes in my local Morrisons for about a quid, I was quick to pick them up! You can also get three packs for £2.70, and each pack has about 80 wipes. The wipes are enriched with aloe vera and chamomile extract, are dermatalogically tested and hypoallergenic. So not bad for the ... more
