Advantages: Rewards the frequent traveller Disadvantages: Can take time to gain modest reward
...use 3 of them, the Morrisons scheme being one.
The Card
--------------
Easily identifiable luckily! It is in Morrison's corporate black and yellow colours with motoring related logos on the front.
Quite frankly, if you have one, you will instantly recognise it is Morrisons Miles card!
Registration
-----------------
Simply, you don't! If you don't have a card, just ask for one next time you fill up or ask the cashier who will issue one to you. ... ...not ive any personal details, Morrisons cannot register your fuel filling habits.
Consequently, because the 'account' is open so to speak, if you lose your card you have had it! There is no way you can retrieve the account on another card and whoever finds your lost card instantly becomes the owner and gains any points on the card.
I personally think that, for the above reason, once given a card, that card number should be registered and held on ...

Miles More Points
The Morrisons Miles loyalty scheme is available in Wm Morrison Supermarket petrol stations. (And should soon be available in the Safeway stores, now that Morrisons have brought the company)
The Miles card is black and yellow, and in a plastic credit card style. It has a magnetic stripe on the back, and a card number on the front, along with a cryptic picture of a petrol pump, a pound sign, and a shopping trolley. You don't need ... ...do anything about it.
Morrisons claim this is the best value petrol points scheme around. When compared with the Nectar scheme, this seems to be true. With Morrisons, 333 litres will give you 4995 points which is equal to a five pound voucher. However with Sainsburys, 1 litre will get you 1 point, and you need 500 points to get £2.50 off your shopping. You would have to fill up with 1000 litres to get five pound off your shopping. (500 litres if ...

...all but given up on Morrisons as a supermarket. I'm tired of their bread being stale the day after I've bought it, finding some hideous stuff growing on my yoghurts and their so-called fresh items clearly showing signs of a spell in a freezer. But their Morrisons Miles scheme is very fair and one that I always take advantage of. It's easy to join up and as soon as you've got yourself a little black and yellow piece of credit-card sized plastic (yes, ... ...you earn up to 15 Morrisons Miles with every litre of fuel you purchase. Why they say "up to" I do not know. I'm assuming petrol gets you more than diesel? I'm not sure about that. Will have to ask the next time I fill up the tank and report back. Anyway, once you've collected the best part of 5,000 (4,995 to be precise) on a single card - which means you've purchased 333 litres of fuel... no, don't stop to think how much that cost - you get a £5 ...

What’s the deal?
This is a customer loyalty scheme. You buy your petrol at Morrison’s Petrol stations, conveniently located on the same sites as their shops. When you pay, they swipe a card, and give you points. When you have enough points on your card, they give you a £5 shopping voucher. You use the voucher in their shops, to get £5 off your shopping bill.
How do you get a card?
When you go to pay for your petrol, you ask for a card. They take ... ...you. There is no form filling or registration required.
What do I get?
Snazzy yellow and black card. If you like bumble bees you’ll love this. If not, it’s just kind of bright. There is a card number on it, and a magnetic strip. Nothing to identify it as being yours though.
What happens if I forget my card?
Ask for a receipt showing your points for that transaction. You can then take the receipt and your card with you next time you buy petrol, ...

Advantages: Best value loyalty card Disadvantages: Only available on petrol, lost card means lost balance
What ever you think of Morrisons quality of service since the Safeway takeover, they should be congratulated for the "Morrisons Miles" scheme. Joining the scheme is very easy - you just pick up a card from the petrol station (no forms to fill in).
The concept is that 15 of the miles are awarded for every litre of fuel purchased at a Morrisons petrol station. Once 333 litres have been purchased (or 4995 miles have been "banked"), you receive a voucher ... ...There is the risk for Morrisons that people buy the petrol, but only redeem the voucher at Morrisons and do their main shopping elsewhere.
The most important point is the value for money. If you were to purchase the same 333 litres of fuel at a Shell petrol station, you would only receive £2.22 in vouchers. The other supermarkets running fuel promotions generally reward for the transaction value rather than in litres, but if you consider unleaded ...

Quick review of Morrisons Miles Card
I have a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card and I get 5 points for every £4 spent at Tesco. Eventhough I get extra 1 point for every £4 spend compared to a standrd Clubcard, I worked out Morrisons is still cheaper and better here is my calculation
(333 litres equals £5 with Morrisons)
Petrol price: £1.029 as at 13/10/08 in Bradford (West Yorkshire):
£1.029 * 333 = £342.657 (£342.66 spent at morrisons to get £5 voucher)
So Tesco would give a voucher for £3 (£3.42), to a normal Clubcard Customer
But a Clubcard Credit Card would get approx £4 (£4.28).
In my opinion stick to Morrisons unless the price exceeds £1.509 per litre of Derv or Petrol or £1.209 per litre if you have the Clubcard Credit Card.
Hope this helps. ...

Advantages: Free to register. Disadvantages: Takes a long time to gain points.
...have found personally that the Morrisons Miles Card is not the best of points schemes - mainly because it takes so long for you to collect points. Not only that, all you get once you get to a certain amount is a £5 gift voucher. Big deal! And it's not as if you can spen it on much past food, as a lot of the non-food items that you can get are just as cheap elsewhere. Give them their due, they do try. It's easy enough to register, as it is free and ... ...till operator that you would like a card and they will give you one. And once you have got your card, it takes so long to collect the points that you have given up all hope. To get the voucher, you then have to go all of the way back into the main store again to ask for it at the customer services desk. In my opinion, this scheme would be much better by being rolled out across the whole store - or giving more points per pound. I don't even know how ...
