Advantages: lots of Humour, Sex, Casuel Murder, Mayhem, Crazy people and silliness Disadvantages: Had a lot to live up to didn't quite get there
I was really looking forward to reading this novel but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. There are some really interesting characters like Barney's character for instance she's smart, fun, and capable! She and Hooker are a clear mis-match, He's not smart and the only thing he has going for him are his looks apparently. The majority of the book shows that Evancovich is definitely courting Nascar fans. That is all well and good, however the ... ...gave up her boring job in insurance to be a spotter for Nascar driver, Sam Hooker, after their first adventure. Barney and Hooker's personal relationship went south, however, after he cheated on her with a salesclerk. They team up to rescue their friend Gobbles when he gets locked in the car hauler of some shady characters, and find themselves framed for murder, as well as on the run from people who want to kill them. Advantages: interesting plot good sequel to metro girl Disadvantages: not as good as the plum series
...(beans is the dog) read motor mouth as a fun sequal to metro girl but dont expect it to be better, the charictors come apart more and i guess you learn more who they are and why but it is lacking the full magic of metro girl, however this by no means makes it rubbish! still a fantastic read and keeps you reading on and on until the end,... when its charictors you love and can empathise with.. why not! one for those already evanovich fans. ...
