...time because I loved my Motorola C332 so much I had planned on keeping it a little longer. Well my one year contract had run out, and I think T-Mobile and Motorola thought I might take my business elsewhere. I received a letter from them offering me a new phone, the Motorola C350, for free. ...so when I found the Motorola C350 on sale, I thought I'd go for it. New mobile, yay! ...That feeling soon wore off.
Initial thoughts were that I finally got a phone with polyphone ringtones and colour display. I mean, it's not as if I was expecting a phone with WAP/GPRS and got one without (the C350 does have WAP/GPRS if I'm not mistaken, but I've never used that feature), I was just expecting some very basic, simple functions, which it didn't have! Not even a proper money exchange rate feature in the calculator! Goodness sake, my phone from 2000 had that, and ...

The main two problems I have with it are:

SMS
The manufacturers claim a standby life of 300 hours. Absolute rubbish. I get 2 days out of mine if I'm lucky, and it really really bugs me. When sending texts, I at first had great difficulty in figuring it out. The predictive text is wierd and the buttons are a horrible shape and size for texting. Over time as I got used to the phone, a few of the texting problems worked themselves out, but in general, I hate texting now and don't do it unless I have to.
However, gripes aside, ...

Advantages: Looks good, reliable Disadvantages: Small screen, too quiet, fiddly buttons
I received the Motorola C350 as a Christmas present. Therefore, I did not choose this myself. I’ve only had it a few days, but I’ve been fiddling around with it for quite a few hours (does that sound dodgy?) and have a fairly good idea of how good it is. And after a while, I began to realise that the C350 is not very good. There are reasons, and I may decide to return the phone in the near future.

It’s a ... ...The main problem with the Motorola C350 is that it came out before the ‘next gen’ phones, thinking it was clever, but a few months down the line it was outstripped by phones that cost the same or a little more than it. The graphics, sound, screen and buttons fall below expectations and are the main reasons that I don’t recommend the C350: there’s better out there. ...

I bought my motorola 2 or 3 months ago. The main reason being that the phone is free on contract. Before this phone I had the Samsung A300 for a year and found it to be one of the worst phones I have owned with awful battery life and a very uncomfortable design.

Sending a text using the c350 is relatively easy. You just select new message from the messages menu and then enter the text. You can either use the entry method that involves clicking a key until you reach the desired letter or you can use the predictive text. ...

...my Nokia 3330 to this Motorola c350 as I wanted a nice colour phone that wasn't too expensive and heavy. I purchased it for £59.99 from Index Catalogue sometime near christmas which I thought was a good price. The main thing was that it looked really good for it's £60 price tag.
It comes with a great array of features such as colour screen, games (Moto GP, Astromash and Snood 21), GPRS and polyphonic ringtones. I thought it had Bluetooth as well ... ...very long lasting.
The Motorola c350 also has predictive text input as well but that is the one thing I don't like about this phone. A short while ago I wanted to change my phone, I had had the previous one for around a year and a half and fancied a change.
Ordinarily, I am a bit of a gadget freak, but when it comes to Mobile Phones, all I want is a phone that goes 'ring ring' and that I can make phone calls on. The C350 suits me down to the ground.
This telephone comes without an integrated camera or video or tea making equipment that seems to be all the rage at the moment.

On first sight it looks very feminine with it being small and sleek. Normally comes in a silver metallic housing, but other housings can be bought from all good mobile phone retailers.

Advantages: Small, light, cheap Disadvantages: Poor battery-life, too quiet
This mobile phone is reasonably cheap considering how much it does (I paid about £60 from Comet). It’s very small and light, which means it is very portable and easily fits into a pocket, but I personally find that this also means that I am prone to losing it! The predictive text facility is also really not very user-friendly; you have to press ‘enter’ after each word (even if it is correct first time), making the composition of text messages slow and even more laborious. It has a colour screen and some nice backgrounds and screensavers (I particularly like the frog one!), and you are able to ...

I purchased this phone after believing the TV adverts, I liked the idea of a cheap phone, with poly ringtones, wallpapers and colour games, this seemed idea for me.
I headed off to virgin and picked up my phone.

First the phone looks the part, nice and small, shiny silver, even easy to use. but that's about it on the plus sides.
Ringtones: Don't have this phone in a pocket or expect to hear someone call you if your in anywhere ... ...so quiet anyone with hearing problems would never receive a call. there are a good selection of tones pre loaded and its easy to download others (when the WAP is working)

...had to refer to the Motorola webpage to solve that minor mystery. (You press the ^ arrow key, for anyone who's stumped)!
The most annoying thing is, if you accidently press the red "off" key when you're typing in a text message, it completely wipes the message you were making and takes you back to the main screen. I do, however, believe the keys could have been better designed - they're too small and fiddly for someone with medium to large hands. On the downside the speaker could do with a greater maximum volume, especially for the ringtones, I've missed a few calls because of the low volume. As a new phone(my old one broke) this phone attracted me because of 1)price 2)size 3) colour screen.I found that of its aesthetic and novelty features very good, but some of it's more practical functions were less pleasing. This is in comparison to my old phone, an alcatel(virgin mobile).
