Advantages: Total hands free Disadvantages: Makes you look like a bit of a nerd
Having purchased my new Motorola L6 with free £15 airtime and bluetooth headset, it was time to have a little play about and see how good each item was.
Now I have to say from the outset that I am a gadget freak, I buy them, play with them then do what everyone else does with them and store them in a drawer somewhere. So I had no reason to believe that this smart looking Motorola H300 bluetooth headset was going to be any different.
On removing ... ...instructions I found myself ready to go in under a minute. Even for the totally uninformed this time scale is easily achievable being that all you really have to do is insert the AAA battery.
There are 3 buttons and a small blue light on the funky looking device, the top small button is volume up the bottom small button is volume down and the larger button of the three on the main part of the unit is power on/off and call button. The blue light ...

Now that I have a Bluetooth phone the next step was to get a Bluetooth headset for 4 reasons:-

...first, mainly that it was motorola and my phone was a sony ericsson. But that little obstacle turned out not to be an obstacle at all, as it doesn't matter!! Im also one of those people who would rather spend a week working out how to use it than a couple of minutes reading the instructions, so i was very pleasantly suprised to find that, after charging you just hold down the call button (it has a phone on it!) down until the blue light switches ... ...comes up Motorola H3 when you are searching for it, and once its paired it never has to be done again, so the instructions say!! I've only had a paired a week though so there's still time for every thing to go wrong!!
Now came the fun part, working out how to use it!! To be completely hands free, you hold down the call button and say the name of who you want to call, but alas, no matter how many times i try to match my voice to my recorded voice ...
