Great style, poor practicality

Advantagesstylish design, dual screens, good features

Disadvantagespoor battery life, slow interface, no upgradable memory, poor camera

"...a number of reasons, but Motorola seem to have gotten it right this time. The system is easy to navigate. However, at times it can seem quite slow, especially when browsing media files such as pictures and videos. ____________ Reception ____________ On Orange, I seem to get great reception all the time. Up to now, I have never gotten a 'service unavailable' message. Even in places where my previous phones, on the same network would not get reception, ..." Read review

Very smart, super functional Razr2!

AdvantagesLooks, range of good functions

Disadvantagesfiddly to attach USB cable, no SD card slot

"Motorola Razr2 V8: When this phone came out of the box, my first thought was 'WOW, that's fantastic!'. My second thought was 'If this works as well as it looks then I'm ecstatic!'. This is the first time I have bought a phone online without seeing it in a brick and mortar store but I am a Motorola fan and felt I couldn't really go wrong. Charge/Battery: The battery charged very quickly out of the box. After several hours of constant use, including ..." Read review

It's a phone... with a music player built in..

AdvantagesLooks great, has a decent music player, ok memory capacity

DisadvantagesMediocore camera, questionable durabilty, short battery capacity, non-upgradeable memory

"I've had my Razr2 since November 2008 (IIRC) and I think it's time for a review of some kind! Well, I'll start with the good things. The phone itself is very attractive, it has a shiny metallic look and a touch screen on the clam,(only operational when playing music but we'll talk about that later) and when you open it up you are greeted to a decent sized screen and metallic key-pad. It doesn't feel very cheap when you get it out of the box. The ..." Read review

Motorola V8- RAZR fans will love it!

AdvantagesReception, User friendly, Photo quality

DisadvantagesUSB Port, Phone games

"...start? Well I've had my Motorola since Christmas, and I still love it. This phone has style, it looks fantastic, and I am often told this by friends. The phone arrived in a very slick gray box, and even though it took me a while to get into it! I was blown away at how attractive and sleek the phone is up-close. WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THIS PHONE 1. Its screen is large and bright which makes it perfect for viewing videos and pictures. 2. The features ..." Read review

This Razor is Sharp

AdvantagesGood Phine

DisadvantagesNone Really.

"Motorola MotoRAZR2 V8 Phone. ************************************ Hi, had this phone for a while now and it serves a purpose, i.e. it rings, which is all I really want from a phone. However, Here a few points about the phone, some of which I've not really bothered with but are still there should You need them. The phone comes in a slick Grey box, it is well package to the point of making it tricking getting into the actual box. It is a sleek ..." Read review

Razr: Not quite a cut above the rest

AdvantagesSexy, sleek look

Disadvantagesslow, lacks many good features

"I bought this phone because I loved the look of it. I personally believe its the sexiest phone on the market at the moment with its sleek, fashionable finish and slim build. However, if fails to contain all the features I would expect from a phone in 2008, though it has a decent camera, relatively good memory and a pretty good music player (which is also touch screen). The phone is very slow moving, often freezes and when typing a text the phone ..." Read review

Motorola Rzr V8 2 ... Very swish!

AdvantagesIt's got lovely big screens

DisadvantagesEven i can break the screen ! and finger marks eugh!!

"...bigger than my old Pink Motorola that i had all those years ago. But the screen is lovely. Both of them infact, as it has a large screen on the outside too which displays your wallpaper on untill it times out and shows only the clock. The phones look is very nice. Very shiny and sleek. The only thing i dont like about the screens are that they show finger marks on it very easily. It's got a battery saving option too which is great for me as i'm ..." Read review

Style over practicality

AdvantagesHolds over 2000 messages. Looks very stylish.

DisadvantagesFiddly to charge. Touch screen can get in the way.

"I quite chiildishly bought the RAZR2 because of the adverts. My ipod had just broken so what better than to have a phone and MP3 player combined! But music bought from itunes doesn't work on this phone unless you illegally transfer the files to microsoft media player, and the phone can only hold about 100 songs. If you were thinking, 'oh great, a touch screen!' then think again. Yes, it does sound rather cool but putting your phone in your pocket ..." Read review

Motorola RAZR2 V8

AdvantagesAttractive design, Durable, Reception quality high.

DisadvantagesPoor battery life, Slow when used, Memory too small.

"...was enticed into buying the Motorola RAZR2 V8. It's a very trendy, aesthetically pleasing mobile, however, if one looks past the air of sophistication that it seems to give off, the RAZR's shortcomings become evident. While using the RAZR, I found myself becoming frustrated. The various functions of the phone seem sluggish compared to other, chunkier, more heavy-duty mobiles out on the market. One will constantly find oneself pressing wrong buttons, ..." Read review

Motorola v8 - sexy phone

Advantagesgood looking, good photo quality, easy to use

Disadvantagescharger connection a bit loose, buttons sometimes have to be pushed down hard

"Looks wise this is an excellent phone, it is also easy to use and similar to the samsung layout. Downsides: Sometimes buttons have to be pushed quite hard to make them work, a bit annoying when you're trying to write a quick text. The charger connection is a little bit loose, only noticeable when your making a call when its charging as every time the connection slips the phone beeps, bit offputting. Easily broken - i dropped mine face down on ..." Read review

V8 Motorola to buy or not to buy

AdvantagesSexy looking with Interactive Screen

DisadvantagesCamara

"I hav had this phone twice as the first one was broken very easily and the second one is still with me at the moment. The V8 is very stylish and sexy and i find this phone has some really great features such as the interactive front screen, You can read your messages and quick reply without opening the phone, Play Music and switch between songs, But find that the Music player can be somewhat annoying and switch itself on if the phone is nocked. I ..." Read review

Moterola V8

AdvantagesGood design, good camera

Disadvantagesbuttons not practically placed, standby time,

"i recently brought this phone as part of an 18month contract from orange. I Personally like the phone but find that i am constantly charging it up and i would say i don't use it all that much. i was also disappointed that there is nowhere to put a memory card to boost my memory on this phone. I also that the charger is fiddly to do correctly. i also find that when i'm texting sometimes when i press cancel i end up sending the message instead, which ..." Read review

Nice Phone! Bad memory!

AdvantagesLooks

DisadvantagesMemory

"I bought the motorola on a bit of a whim after my o2 coccon phone broke. I was looking for another flip phone and this fitted the description. The first thing I look for in a phone is how it looks, and this phone is gorgeous!! very slim and sleek! The front display screen is nice and big which is good, and the phone feels strong and not like its about to snap when you open and close it!! The menus are easy to navigate and there is everything you need ..." Read review
