I bought this phone because I loved the look of it. I personally believe its the sexiest phone on the market at the moment with its sleek, fashionable finish and slim build. However, if fails to contain all the features I would expect from a phone in 2008, though it has a decent camera, relatively good memory and a pretty good music player (which is also touch screen). ...bigger than my old Pink Motorola that i had all those years ago. But the screen is lovely. Both of them infact, as it has a large screen on the outside too which displays your wallpaper on untill it times out and shows only the clock. The phones look is very nice. Very shiny and sleek. I quite chiildishly bought the RAZR2 because of the adverts. My ipod had just broken so what better than to have a phone and MP3 player combined! But music bought from itunes doesn't work on this phone unless you illegally transfer the files to microsoft media player, and the phone can only hold about 100 songs. If you were thinking, 'oh great, a touch screen!' then think again. Yes, it does sound rather cool but putting your phone in your pocket ... Read review

Disadvantages: charger connection a bit loose, buttons sometimes have to be pushed down hard

Looks wise this is an excellent phone, it is also easy to use and similar to the samsung layout. Downsides: Sometimes buttons have to be pushed quite hard to make them work, a bit annoying when you're trying to write a quick text. The charger connection is a little bit loose, only noticeable when your making a call when its charging as every time the connection slips the phone beeps, bit offputting. I hav had this phone twice as the first one was broken very easily and the second one is still with me at the moment. The V8 is very stylish and sexy and i find this phone has some really great features such as the interactive front screen, You can read your messages and quick reply without opening the phone, Play Music and switch between songs, But find that the Music player can be somewhat annoying and switch itself on if the phone is nocked. i recently brought this phone as part of an 18month contract from orange. I Personally like the phone but find that i am constantly charging it up and i would say i don't use it all that much. i was also disappointed that there is nowhere to put a memory card to boost my memory on this phone. I had the first razr and loved it, after that I had a l7 then a k1 and now a razr2. Its far more advanced software wise than all the older motorola's, the screen resolution is excellent so the pictures are sharp and clear. Motorola well what can I say they have brought out another wicked phone into the RAZR Range.Up until a few months ago I was using the v3i which I was really happy with but I fancied a change so I went to o2 and got a sony errision I wasnt happy at all with it so took it back and got another Motorola the v8 from the moment I first opened the box it was truely love.
