My Pumpkin Takes Me to the Ball !

Advantages: Make standard/video calls; Bluetooth; multi-media +2 cameras; looks and feels good
Disadvantages: Music reproduction a bit 'tinny' ~ Bluetooth usage not instinctive; standard ring tones maybe boring

...my first 3G phone, a Motorola C975, which required charging every night, looked like a (silver) brick and was quite chunky. I had an allowance of 500 minutes any time any networks, 100 texts, and free internet browsing; e-mails cost 25p - 50p each depending on size. I found the tariff suited me; I never exceeded my allowance, and although it didn't have Bluetooth, it was a simple matter to e-mail pictures to myself. The problem was the memory and ...

The pumpkin coloured finish (like the deep pink illustrated above) felt smooth and sensuous to the touch. The fold-over style meant that I could answer the phone by simply opening it ( _ ...

...talk and advertising for the Motorola V3X so once it came out it had to live up to some heavy expectations. Luckily for Motorola it did. The V3X is a great phone so and hopefully my review will help you to understand that. Looks: This phone definitely has looks; it is probably the most stylish phone on the market. It is super sleek and not very tall either. The whole thing adds up the little screen on the front and the camera above it, the whole ...
...my eye about the look is that unlike most flip-phones it does not have one of those short stubby aerials sticking out of the top. Feel / Ease of Use This phone feels great in the hand to. It just about fits into the palm of my hand (the phone is quite wide) and it is not very heavy. It also fits very nicely into my pockets. The phone is quite easy to use. It has a simple 'icon' style menu which is very easy to use. The only downside I can think ...

Sophistication, style, robust and 3G in a phone!

...This new phone is the Motorola V3X. It is the newest addition to the Motorola range, and is the successor to the very popular Razr range (the thin Pink one, and the black one, and silver one). This V3X is a flip phone. I am in a good position to review this new phone as I have owned a flip phone before. In fact, I have already written a review on the Motorola V525. I used my old phone so much, that I thought it best to change from pay as you go, ...

At the top of the phone on the outside is a fantastic 2 mega-pixel camera! - Small screen on the exterior of the phone - this shows the interior screen, on a smaller scale. A new text message/missed call, is also displayed here, which is very helpful, if you don't necessarily have time to read a text, but want to know if you have heard back from someone. -The ...

...when I heard the new Motorola V3x was being realeased I had to get it. I has a masterplan to get my hands on this phone, I was to phone up Vodaphone my current contract provider and tell them I wished to cancel my contract to switch to Three where they were offering the phone on some pretty good deals. Low and behold my plan worked and Vodaphone offered me the phone for free with an amazing price plan which I just couldn't resist, 2 days later and ...
...Looks: The phone is pretty similar to the original V3 range, major difference is the thickness of the phone which has been increased to house the new 2MP camera. The phone is made out of a very cheap plastic and as i found out very early on this is prone to scratching very easily. I now have a large scratch on the front of my phone where the paint has simply chipped away. The display on the front of the phone is ok to say the least only really use ...

...which you received a free Motorola V3X. The deal was fantastic and I'd always liked the look of Motorola's in the past but had heard bad things about them, but decided to bite the bullet and give them a fair crack of the whip. My phone arrived with a utilities CD and a USB cable for PC connectivity which a lot of companies make you pay separately for. So far so good. The sleek design, although a lot thicker than the original RZR's was pleasing enough ...

...the latest incarnation of the Motorola V3 model. A phone that started out looking like technological pornography, and with all the useability of a cactus. Which is on fire. I had the original V3 briefly and hated it, but I am something of a hardcore Nokia fan, though I have been known to flirt with Samsung if it's late and I'm drunk. So, why did I get another Motorola V3 model, I hear you ask? Actually, what I hear you asking is "why do I care what ...
...the PSP. Motorola have kept the basic design of the phone as close to the original as possible, which is clearly a good thing. Though it is a little fatter and chunkier than it's predecessors, owing to all the gadgetry that has been clamped to it. They have also kept the cool tron-like keypad, which I will admit, has such poser appeal about it, even I like it. Most surprisingly, the phone feels incredibly well made. Everything has a chunky, durable ...

Razr Sharp V3X

Advantages: Slim & sleek design & user friendly.
Disadvantages: Lowish battery life.

I have had the Razr V3X for approximately 2 weeks & while I haven't had experienced a 'full' experience of the phone, my first impressions are good. I exchanged my Samsung Z400i on Ebay for a pink V3X as I knew people who had got the phone & recommended it to me. At first I was quite sceptical as I had heard bad reviews of the Razr V3 in the past but I was assured that this phone was a vast improvement from the V3. I admit I initially brought the ...

I'm used to Samsungs, so the operating system was slightly different to what I was used to, but it took me no time at all to find me way round the phone which goes to show the V3X is user friendly! The camera is a standard 2 MP but takes outstanding pictures. It has a flash which allows you to take impressive quality pictures in the dark. The camera on the inside of the phone (used for 3g calling) is as good ...

This phone was very popular in it's hayday. Being about 3/4 years ago. I have had 2 versions of this phone simply because i have found them so reliable. Te security features are amazing and you can lock almost anything! Very handy when you don't want someone ringing your mates or looking at your somewhat pornographic messages. However, It certainly has it's limitations. For example on the box it came in it certainly stated that it had an MP3 player. ...

Another thing that is wrong with this phone is after about 6 months of having the first version the buttons started to fadeto a point where i no longer have a miiddle button and i also no longer have a '2' or an '8'. I find the camera is very good as you can change the settings of the lighting and also you can use the self-timer which is very handy. However, ...

Too good to be true?

Advantages: Stylish, sleek, light, excellent display
Disadvantages: No keylock for side buttons, and bleeps a lot!

I chose this phone as it was a free upgrade and it was by far the best looking, lightest and user friendly phone in that price range. I was very happy with the phone for the first month and could not find any drawbacks. However when it lost its new and shiny appeal a few flaws started to appear. The phone has buttons on the side which control the volume and camera. There is no key lock for these buttons so you can end up with a lot of pictures of ...

However the main menu is straight forward and the whole menu appears on one screen and so it is easy to go into the correct sub directories. The phone does have predictive text although it is difficult to use in comparisson with the nokias, and i have actually given up trying to use it as it takes longer with predictive text than without. I was disappointed that there ...

not good for regular use

Advantages: it was fast, easy to understand, also light and didn't take up much room
Disadvantages: battery charge was poor, and some sms options had to be changed before every sms

When I first recieved this phone I was very pleased with it. It was light and didn't take up much space, and was also very easy to understand. However, I never use predictive text on my mobiles as I find it much faster to write it myself, and I soon got very frustrated with this phone as before every text I had to change the options for the sms to turn off predictive text as for some reason it never saves the options for you. The battery life on ...
...my phone once a day most of the time, so I would not recommend it to someone who uses their phone a lot and is regularly away from a charger. The standard battery life is stand by time of roughly 250 hours, and the talk time is up to 5 hours, but I think its less then that. Its reasonably up to date with most of the technology as you can sms, mms, email, use the internet and instant message, as well as 3G and bluetooth. There is a built in MP3 player ...

A cool phone

Advantages: Compact design, easy to use and lots of functions.
Disadvantages: Short battery Life

I have had my Motorola V3X for over six months and have been very impressed with it. Normally I am looking at new phones after two months because I'm bored with or I've broken my mobile. With the V3X that's not the case. I got the phone three with a twelve month contract with three. It is as compact a design for a 3G phone as you will get at the moment. Worst mistake of my life

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Look & feel, battery life, signal

I've had numerous mobile phones over the years including Nokia, Samsung and now Motorola. This is by far the worst handset I've ever had the misfortune to be stuck with. For a starters the size and shape are both big and cumbersome, it's not as heavy as it looks, but it looks like a brick. I have had the mobile over a year now and I thought I'd get used to it, but it's only got worse. I work in a rural setting and as such I often don't get mobile ...
...worked perfectly well in the same location. I have switched it from the 3G network onto the other network, but it's not made any difference. Don't buy it unless you're in a central city location where signal is reliable. The battery life is appaling, I have to charge it every night or else it dies the next day. I only use it for phone calls and texting, hate to think how short the battery would last if I used all the advanced functions available. ...
