    Advantages Advantages Styling, build-quality, size

Disadvantages Disadvantages Too easy to cover the camera in fingerprints. Wot, no case?

WHOOPS - MY CURMUDGEONLY QUOTIENT JUST TOOK A HIT What a bloody hypocrite I am. For years I've been begrudgingly using a pay-as-you-go cell-phone, and an obsolete one at that, boasting that I don't put any more money it than say, £10 every six months; probably a lie of artistic licence proportions anyway. Then a sequence of events occurred, when we found how 'jolly useful' being able to e-mail from our laptop would have been, whilst cloistered away in a rented cottage in Wales. There are a few ways you could do this without access to a phone socket, but they all involve cellular technology ... more

Advantages Advantages flip-open design, damned thin, metal casing - extremely durable

Disadvantages Disadvantages limited features, limited memory

After making the switch from an old V60 TDMA, I got the V3 Razr GSM for my birthday, November last year. This phone has only 5MB internal memory and no way of adding more memory. The flip-open design is a handy design for any phone, but it still leaves the external display and the battery open to damage. FYI: Motorola claims an all-metal casing (Aluminum, if I remember correctly) but the battery casing is plastic, so be careful. Menu is not exactly the easiest thing to figure out, but if you have grown accustomed to Motorola, then you won't have much of a problem. The screen is HUGE and crisp ... more

    Advantages Advantages Very Slim, lightweight

Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery life not great

I bought this phone originally because I decided to try out a flip phone. My old Eriksson was ok but if the phone was not locked, it would make calls to your last number without you realizing it.. Having a flip phone definitely sorts that problem out! I also opted for the Razr because it is quad band which is great if you travel alot for work, which I do, also the Bluetooth function is particularly good for when you are on the go...I use mine every day. The numbers on the keypad are a great size which also makes texting a lot easier. No more fumbling around with miniture size keypads. I find ... more

Advantages Advantages Large screen, easy to use

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Volume

I've never been cool enough to be at the forfront of mobile phone technology, usually opting for an easy to use model rather than something that looks like it belongs in a James Bond film. However because I am such a good customer to o2 they recently offered me a free upgrade and the black razr was one of my options. Have usually gone for smaller phones I was a little worried this would feel chunky and awkward. however the beauty of this phone is that although it appears big, it is actually very slim so it fits nicely into a pocket. The size also means it has a large, easy to see screen and ... more

Advantages Advantages Looks Good And Has Good Shape

Disadvantages Disadvantages Has Very Few Functions On It

The reason I bought this phone was simply because it looks better than anything else in the store. The black colour gives it a sense of style, and the flip is a good feature on any phone. The good bits The phone looks a lot better than any other, especially in black. It fits you ear perfectly when calling someone, and the speakers are good - so you don't have to press it to your ear. The button layount and menu system are both good, the use of the central button on the pad means you can access all areas quickly. It takes very good photos, the picture quality is very good. It can also play ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to use, sleek slim design, great durablility

Disadvantages Disadvantages Stock ringtones are terrible

This is my second cell phone that I have ever owned. I see all my friends with their iPhones, razr 2's, and all the other fancy phones and all I can say is: why? The razr is all you need to have a good quality phone to do all your basic needs. You can text, check your voicemail, take pictures, take videos, bluetooth, and every other thing that is needed on a cell phone. Another advantage to the Motorola razr is that it is slim (like a razr) so it fits nicely into any pocket. I personally have dropped my phone about 30 times and everything is working perfectly so the durability is excellent ... more

This phone was instantly brought to my attention because of it's size, sexy black colour and individuality. The fact it is a flip phone makes it especially good because when i carried my old phone around with me in my pocket it used to keep phoning people (even when locked!!!!).I found the button on the side, allowing you to take a decent picture of yourself on holiday or anywhere else without having to ask a stranger to take the picture for you very good and this feature majorly helped to make the phone even more unique.I had to buy the phone after seeing all my mates with it and the adverts ... more

Advantages Advantages Tried and tested (as everyone at some point has owned one)

Disadvantages Disadvantages Everyone at some point has owned one

You can't actually fault the handset - it is well designed and feels great to play with. Screen quality: very good, a pleasure to deal with. Usability: good, apart from the keypad being slightly annoying. Menus are OK, but nothing special. Reception: very, very good - the clearest reception I have ever had. But, the problem with this handset is that so many people have them. Remember a few years ago when everyone had a Nokia (models in particular)? Well, the Motorola RAZR is in danger of taking that place. My advice to anyone with the money to buy a RAZR is to consider other, fresher handsets ... more

i bought a razr V3 2 months ago, because as everyone else thinks WOW thats nice. you must make sure you read the full specs on the phone before buying, it is a very nice phone to have but not for an everyday teenager. the limited 5mb memory with no additional memor card slot does not allow music or videos to be download to your phone only small clips of them. i bought my razr for £200 now they have went down they are a bit more worth there money, but an ideal choice of phone at the moment would have to be the SAMSUNG d500 or d600. they have a large memory capacity they are stylish. it a razr ... more

As I stand in the verizon wireless store searching for a new phone after my old one, that I had for five years, died. I was having troubles figuring out which one I wanted. I ended up deciding on the razr. The only problem was I had to decide between the razr which I would leave the store with that day or the razr maxx and wait a couple days until it was shipped to my house. Since I was lacking a bit of patience I ended up choosing the razr. I left the store as giddy as a kid on Christmas because I just bought my first smart phone. Well after a couple days of use, I find myself sitting there ... more
