Advantages: good little phone, with everything you need Disadvantages: slow transfer, heavy, poor camera quality
Well i had the previous version of this phone (the black one, with a more simple MP3 player and no video) and i liked the look and feel of the phone. So when i upgraded i chose the ROKR E1. My first thoughts were "I'VE GOT AN IPOD ON MY PHONE", however, the songs take forever to transfer from i-tunes to the phone. But do not get my wrong the quality of the MP3 player is good, it is louder than the previous version. I do find the earphones that come ... ...by playing my music out loud.
The previous version came with software to move your pictures from the phone to the computer, but the ROKR does not, and this is a huge disadvantage if you do not wish to delete pictures from your phone. The phones camera is ok but it is not the best, in some situations it can be very very poor quality and takes quite a while to take a picture. The video quality is a good as any others that i have seen, it is not great ...

Advantages: good music quality - good value for money - comes wiht nice extras Disadvantages: no infrared - expensive to get fixed - bluetooth is slow
With the motorola ROKR which i bought 2 christmas's ago it has performed and helped me alot more than i expected. The MP3 - The itunes program provides easy transfer from computer to phone or visa versa, this also gives very very good sound quality through the phones music player. The downside to the phone using itunes on it is that you cannot bluetooth music direct from your phone to other users. The Camera - The camera is one of the things that ... ...clear and the photos are very basic compared to some other leading brand phones. Although it has a Zoom the camera gets blurry the further it zooms.
The battery - The battery life on the rokr is very good, if you only use it for texting and no playing music the battery will last easily a few days (3-4). you can play music on it continuesly from full battery for about 8 hours.
The Package - When you buy the phone new it arrives with some special ...

Advantages: iTunes, Multi-tasking, Simplicity Disadvantages: a bit slower when multi-tasking, slow uploads
...it, as people who know motorola will know the phones inbuilt memory is only 5mb, which nowadays is useless, mine came with a 512, which was enough to put 100 songs onto my iTunes (the maximum) and to put a FULL movie 1hr 35min in 3GP formatand then there was plenty of room for other things too.
Little annoying things.
Doing anything whilts iTunes is hidden and running, is slow and adjitating.
You cant set a song as an alarm orringtone unless it ... ...have only ever seen on Motorola phones, adjustable volume sensitivity and paterns, when the phone detects noise the lights on the phone flash dependant on the volume of noise and the pitch it flashes differently, inside the 2 speakers there are lots of different colored lights, usefull tool if you go to gigs where the singer demands everyone to wave there mobile phone n your the coolest person there.

Advantages: cheap mp3 phone with all the latest gadgets Disadvantages: low battery life, heavy
Bought this phone for my teenage daughter, which for a start loves it. The phone itself has plenty of character and although not as much street cred as the Sony's, Nokia etc, it's over all not a bad phone. The phone is bit heavier than more expensive phones but is user friendly. Other than the normal making calls and texting, the phone has many other functions.
The white cover with the silver buttons sets it apart from other phones and gives it ... ...it produces multi colored lights; this gives the phone a sense of ambience and display when the phone makes any kind of sound. The phone is very easy to use with a menu button set on top of the numbers. From here it allows you to access the functions of the phone. You can also set the four top functions on the screen and access them via the toggle button. On the side of the phone are tiny speakers that are set so not to distort when playing any tunes ...

Advantages: I tunes feature, easy to use and transfer music, expandable memory Disadvantages: Bluetooth can be a pain as it only stays on for 1 minute, poor camera
I was very excited about getting this phone when it came out as it had the itunes feature which i'd never seen on a phone before. It is very easy to download songs from your computer onto the phone and the music option provides good quality sound but it does run down your battery VERY quickly. I was very disappointed that you could not use the itunes songs as ringtones, and i have not yet figured out how to delete the songs off the phone if you no ... ...do this as i have tried about everything to do it!
The camera is very poor, especially as the phone was £300 when it came out, it has a zoom option but the futher you zoom, the worse the picture gets.
The phone is rather heavy to hold compared to other leading similar phones on other makes, but it is very durable. I have dropped my phone numerous times and have only scratched the edges. The joystick and menu options are very easy to use and navigate ...

Advantages: good portable device Disadvantages: a bit clunky
Well after my Motorola v600 bit the dust, I thought do I really want another motorola ? But was suitably impressed by the ROKR's menagerie of inbuilt technology, video, camera and mp3 player and huge memory, Quite a generous 512mb when you compare other other toys that only come with an ungenerous 32mb (did I say the sony psp oops I just did ) .
So The phone itself mmm let me see, I thought a year down thne road maybe motorola would have sorted ... ...it you end up going through countless menus only to forget where you found the one you really wanted, nothing really linear about the sysytem, whats wrong with i want to apply this ringtone instead of going through countless different menus only to find it under loud detail, I don't want to detail anything I want to apply a ringtone.

Advantages: Easy to get songs from itunes to the phone, easy to use Disadvantages: Quite large, aesthetically 'marmite' - either you'll love it or you'll hate it!
I absolutely love this phone. But I have to acknowledge it's 'silver white marmite', some are going to love it just as much as me whilst everyone else loathes it. As a technophobic gadget lover, I am always looking for the genuinely user friendly shiny new purchase that will change my life. In my humble opinion, this phone is it!
It has a very simple menu system and easy instructions to personalise the quick buttons so that what you tap first takes ... ...tap in text messages. The phone book display allows you to see all the contact information you might need in one glance. Oh, and in high quality colour too. It's possible to take and store a photo in two clicks. Your hundred song music library is just another click away whatever screen you are on. The buttons are bigger than most modern phones and also more substantial - none of your laser etched nonsense. Advantages: Great Storage Capacity Disadvantages: Can be a bit temperamental
Saw this phone on the o2 shop, and was intrigued by the blurb given to it. The description that it has I-Tunes on and MP3 compatable was- excuse the pun- Music to my Ears. It didnt look to bad either- was reletively stylish and modern looking, so thought id give it a try. The phone arrived and i was pleasantly surprised by what it had to offer. My phone came with a memory card slot incorporated into the phone, as well as being able to download I-tunes ... ...of earphones, charger, and USB connection for computers to download the tunes.
I was soon testing the phone out to get all my I-Tunes downloaded onto the phone and get listening, but found that it took quite a while to actually get the tunes onto the phone. But persisting they were all successfully downloaded and ready to play. I like the way the phone can be used as a portable MP3 or as a load speaker system, the sound quality is superb for such ...

Advantages: 512mb memory card, itunes on your phone, Holds loads of texts, Very Robust Disadvantages: Camera not that Good, quite chunky, Short battery life when bluetooth is on
...you are not used to Motorola phones it is a bit confusing to text on at first but now I am used to it I think it is actually much easier than other phones I have had. It has a large screen so it is easy to read texts.
The phone itself is very robust I have dropped it loads of times and still works fine. It is fairly chunky which may put some people off. The wap is very good and and fast compared to other wap phones I have used.
I haven't actually ... ...on it but I know that it has an artificial limit of 100 songs regardless of how much memory has been used which I imagine may be quite annoying. One downside is that I find the battery runs out quite quickly if you have bluetooth on and I imagine it would run out very quickly if it you used the mp3 player function.
The camera and video quality is a little disappointing and vidoes can only last 30 seconds. One good feature of the camera, however ...

Very Decent phone this- it comes with most new essentials and can be picked up retail at around £110 or less.

Advantages: It has iTunes! and amazing sound quality! Disadvantages: Limited themes, camera lacks quality
...the shops looking for a Motorola V3. But luckily I found this one first!
It has iTunes software, meaning it can play the same format files as an iPod. This means you have an iPod and a phone, rolled into one! The only thing I was surprised with was that it has an artificial song limit. This basically means it can only hold 100 songs regardless of how much memory you have left, which I thought was a bit cheeky! Although, to make up for this, they ... ...phone. These usually retail for over £30, and it can hold your 100 songs and many pictures and videos. It also comes with handy software to store all of your passwords and pin numbers in. I love this phone.... some complaints have been made about the limited capacity of the ROKR E1 in that you can only get about 100 tracks on it and it is slow to download...
