Advantages: Easy clean, easy to use
Disadvantages: heavy jug, but it's glass

I got this for Xmas, and it's definitely the best present I got! Technically I'm on my second one because one of the plastic bits that attaches the blade to the jug broke, meaning that when I mixed things it tended to drip out of the bottom! Thankfully argos changed this for me and I've not had a problem with it. Advantages: Metal blades to crush ice, looks good, hard wearing glass jug
Disadvantages: Very hard to separate jug from motor unit, hard to clean

We bought this blender 6 months ago, primarily to mix cocktails and smoothies up in. We chose this over the Kenwood smoothie maker because we felt it would be more versatile if we did wish to prepare anything else. We also liked the looks of the blender and the fact that it had a hard wearing glass jug rather than a plastic one (It will go in the dishwasher safely).
