Toffee or not toffee?

Advantages: delicious, a nice size
Disadvantages: a little pricey, can get sickly

...I hadn't seen before – Mr Kipling Toffee Apple Bake wells. I have been eating Kipling cakes most of my life. As a child I adored the mini battenbergs, and as I grew older I sampled various other delights Mr Kipling had to offer. Mr Kipling is probably one of the most loved confectionery manufactures around – his products are available so widely. There is such a great range of cakes to choose from, and in the range there are a few bakewell options. ...

Review of Mr Kipling Toffee Apple Bakewells

Better than the ones on a stick!

Advantages: Sweet and delicous!
Disadvantages: More sponge and some chunks of apple please; may be too sweet for some

...sweet tradition are toffee apple. Mr Kipling has joyfully launched 'Toffee Apple bakewells' as part of the new autumn 'New inspirations' range of cakes and tarts, which also features carrot cake slices. I was overjoyed to find a pack of 6 for just £1 in Asda and we put them in the trolley. That's about 16/17p each! I do however think they will usually be about £1.38 a pack. The box looks quite Halloweeny in that it is golden shades of brown in colour ...
