Nothing but sponge and icing!

AdvantagesSoft Sponge, Nice texture, Individual packs

DisadvantagesLacks vanilla taste.

"I'm not a huge fan of cake and don't very often eat cakes purchased from shops or supermarkets. I do how-ever like to make cakes and I do enjoy eating these, I think this is because I love the making and tasting my cakes once they are baked and I also know what goes into them as well. I have recently gone through a stage where I have been craving something sweet and I don't like eating chocolate all the time so thought I would go for something ..." Read review

MR KIPLING, ARE YOU TRYING TO SEDUCE ME? Review with images

Advantages...soft, moist, delectable...

Disadvantages..the price you pay for it!

"On a hunt to buy something to serve the in-laws with a cuppa and some other nibbles, a packet of Mr Kipling's Angel Slices was impulsively purchased: and the Tiger Household has never looked back as this is now on regular stand-by and served to any [impromptu] visitors we have! ~~EAT ME/KEEP ME~~ There are 6 angel slices in a red rectangular box. The On the front of the packet is a clear cellophane window so you can see exactly what you're ..." Read review

Happy Birthday to me... every day

AdvantagesMelt-in-the-mouth yumminess

DisadvantagesRather pink, too many calories

"Must... stop... writing top tens!! Ah, that's better :) Now - what do you mean it's not my birthday? Hurumph. Well, okay, I do still have a few weeks to go, but that doesn't mean I can't start early with the cake. Ahem. Bugger the diet. Actually, it wasn't my own birthday that introduced me to (yet another) of Mr Kipling's range of cakes. They're exceedingly good, don't you know, although the man does seem to have a nasty habit of drowning ..." Read review

Angelic Cakes

"Yum, I like my cakes. Although cakes are very naughty and most of the ones that I eat are full of fat and sugar, we do occasionally buy some cakes at our house. We have to make sure that they are the right ones though, the ones that make you go mmmmmmmm and want to eat the entire pack. Well on this occasion we bought Mr Kipling’s (Exceedingly Good) Angel slices. ~~THE PACKET~~ The angle slices come in a six pack and are in a red, long ..." Read review

Surely not a diet "devil in disguise" to go with a cup of tea?

Advantagessweet, very light sponge cake, would go well with a cup of tea

Disadvantagescalories, fat, sugar (only the usual downsides to cake, really!)

"Mr. Kipling’s Slices have been gaining a lot of favour in our house lately, and I believe this is partly because Sainsbury’s have had them on offer but partly also because they don’t exactly taste repulsive. And in all honesty I see no point in buying anything that either tastes revolting (should it happen to be food) or irritates my skin (should it happen to fit into the toiletries/bodycare category) just because it’s on offer, because it only ends ..." Angel Slices Are Heavenly Review with images

AdvantagesTaste great, look nice

DisadvantagesSome of the stuff from this range i havent really liked as much and it is slightly

"PACKAGING These come in a long cardboard box with various different colours of pink occupying the front of it. :Angel slices" is written on the front of it and the word "angel" is written in quite fancy writing with a halo above the letter a. Also written on the front it tells you that it has "no artificial colours" or flavours and is twin packed for freshness. Inside there is six angel slices and two in each packet. The packets have a plastic covering ..." Read review

Angel Slices- Devilishly Sweet.

AdvantagesNice vanilla flavour, looks pretty.

DisadvantagesToo sweet.

"==Price and Availability== Although I’m not majorly into sweet things we always have a variety of goodies in the cupboards as if I have a sweet tooth craving I have to fulfil it immediately. I quite often buy Mr Kipling products as to me I’ve always thought of it as a quality brand and one treat we have in at the moment are Mr Kipling Angel Slices. Usually they cost about £1.40 but they are on offer quite a lot for a pound or on a two for one offer ..." Read review

Little Devils in disguise

Advantageslook nice; convenient packaging

Disadvantagesbland

"Angel Cakes are so called because they are traditionally made with no fat, though some 'Angel cakes' are simply given this title because they are so light and sponge, yet secretly calorie and fat laden - as with this. Yes, Mr Kipling’s 'Exceedingly good' Angel cakes are certainly not 'good' in the nutritional value. Taste wise? - well, I'll consider.... Mr Kipling’s Angel slices come in a box with 6 plastic containers covered with a plastic protective ..." Read review

Angelic slices of heaven

Advantagestaste, aroma, texture

Disadvantages/

"Everybody loves cake, whether they tend to their love or not. Mr Kipling is without a doubt one of the createst confectionary manufacturers around. Their products are always up to scratch, a heavenly bite in each. A few years ago, I became addicted to their Angel Slices! Thankfully, I am off this 'addiction; now but I will still eat them on the odd occasion. What made them so special? The first thing that attracted me to Angel Slices was their packaging. ..." Cakes for Angels!

Advantagestasty cakes, moist sponge, great packaging!

Disadvantagesnothing

"I am always on the lookout for different things to put into mine and my husbands packed lunch to keep it a little varied as it is a bit boring to eat the same things all the time. We both have a sweet tooth so I like to add a small sweet treat to our lunches each day. So on a recent trip to Tesco when I spotted the Mr Kipling angel cake slices. After looking at them I realised that the cake slices come individually wrapped in little snap off plastic ..." Read review

A Little Slice of Heaven

AdvantagesYummy!!

DisadvantagesWasteful packaging

"Whenever I eat birthday cake it is the icing I am really after, yes I do eat the cake itself, but I often find it a bit dry. Mr Kipling's Angel Slices are like little slices of perfect birthday cake, they are 3x3x7cm and are made up of a vanilla flavour filling sandwiched between a pink and a yellow layer of sponge; this is topped with a layer of soft icing - you don't have to sacrifice your enjoyment by having icing free bites! The cakes are ..." Read review

Angel slices are delicious

AdvantagesSweetand cake is very light

Disadvantagesicing is very sweet

"This a regular on our shopping list as they are just so unbelivably tasty! They come in a pink and red box with Angel written along the front with a halo around the 'A' They also show a picture of the angel slice and I have to say even from the box you can see they are going to taste heavenly! On opening the box I was surprised to find that there were three plastic trays of two slices each wrapped in clear plastic film to keep them fresh. ..." Read review

Quick review of Mr. Kipling Angel Slices

"A great nibble, but very sweet. Be warned if you have to many then you may throw up. A nice treat after a long week at work! Not for those obsessed with diets though!
