Advantages: Easy to read, fast paced, clever
Disadvantages: Sometimes long winded, rather big headed

Overall I would say this is worth a read if you have some spare time on your hands whilst on holiday or a lazy sunday with nothing to do. The book is well written and Howard Marks certainly is a likable character. He comes across as someone who can get on with anyone from any walk of life. I do believe truth can be stranger than fiction. I have just read this book, and it is definitely one of the best books I have ever read. Very intrigueing book. The book starts off in the days of his youth in Wales and carries on through his entire life experience. The book takes a look at the "Dope Smugglers" life through a series of stories told to you by Howard Marks himself and goes to great detail in all his life adventures. Mr. Nice was certainly an eye opener for me! The first book in a long time that has captured me. Once started you will not be able to put this book down.
