...Then I remembered the Mudd that my friend had given me. She gets all sorts of samples and bits from where she works - quite legally, of course! "I'll give it a try", I thought - as any good little Ciao person would.
Mudd, in case you don't know, is a face mask that is said to tone and tighten the skin. I hadn't used it before, never really felt the need, so I didn't know what to expect. I read on the packet that it was also a deep pore cleanser ... ...my capabilities. Then apply Mudd over the entire face, avoiding eyes. No problem. But, before I started slapping it on, I had a thought. Ding! If it tones and tightens would it be good for boobs as well? I must have been feeling brighter! The tube of Mudd I had, 80ml, was supposed to be enough for up to eight applications so I had plenty and, as I hadn't dressed yet, I thought, "Why not". I squeezed some mud onto my hand. If you have read my Boots face mask opinion, you will know that I am always trying new ones. For some reason I really like using them.
I came across this one, only the other day, whilst I was shopping. It was the price that attracted me.

The packaging for this product, is nothing special. it is very simple in design.
The tube it is supplied in, is white all over. So is the screw on lid.
On ... ...of the product, and on the back, it gives you the ingredients and directions of use.
The tube holds 75ml of product.

This face mask cost me just 79p. I bought mine from a shop called Bodycare. Superdrug also sell this same product, for a few pence less, at 75p.

Advantages: Good price Disadvantages: Not that effective
...face mask, so I chose Mudd as it was reasonably priced, and medicated as I am prone to breakouts of spots. Mudd is a clay based mask so I expected it to be like your typical mask - like wet clay. So I was rather surprised to find that when I squeezed it out of the tube it looked incredibly, well, synthetic somehow - more the texture of a thick hair conditioner. I was under no illusions that it was a natural product but it was still a bit of a surprise.
... ...is quite reasonable price-wise. Mudd is available from most pharmacies in sachets and tubes.
Mudd comes in several other types (none of which I have tried) - Peel Off - Non drying, vitamin enriched and supposedly leaves skin looking younger.
Sensitive - Speaks for itself really.
