Advantages Advantages tasty, attractive pot, healthy, cheap

Disadvantages Disadvantages annoying fruit skin pieces

When I opened up the fridge door after my lunch, I scanned across the shelf where the Müller yoghurts were taking up all the room; there was nine left from our last trip to Asda, after taking advantage of the 12 for £3 offer. I was in the mood for a Layers one, but unfortunately for me, my Dad had devoured the last of its kind the night before, so I was out of luck. There were still two flavours I had yet to try though, and one of them was the Cherry. It would be just my luck that this particular yoghurt was hidden away towards the back of the crowd, so I ended up taking out the majority of ... more

During the small hours whilst I am sat here reading and rating on Ciao and the family are sleeping, I get a sudden urge to graze on something... It would normally be a bar of chocolate, but as I am doing my very utmost to become a 'Baywatch babe' for the summer I have turned my mid-night cravings to fruit or Muller light yogurts. To night I stood at the fridge door closed my eyes, smacked myself in the face with the fridge door ( should have kept the eyes open ) and reached inside....Ooh Muller light Cherry flavour. The Pot.~~~~ The two and a half inch diameter plastic pot is mainly white with ... more

I am not really someone who eats yoghurts a lot but there are some that I do really love and these are usually made by Muller. I love fruit corners a lot but sometimes that is just too heavy and after a light lunch or dinner there is nothing better to finish my meal off with than A Muller Yoghurt. I have to say though I love Muller's flavour range because they do such a wide range but one of my favourites is probably the cherry flavour and I will continue to explain why as I type on. Back in 1896 Ludwig Muller established his Bavarian dairy. His grandson is who runs it nowadays earning lots of ... more

Advantages Advantages handy filling snack, low in calories, fruit pieces

    Disadvantages Disadvantages odd aftertaste

Yoghurts are quick, convenient, and are one of those things that I stock up on every week at the supermarket as they are handy to pack with a lunch or have with your breakfast as a healthy light snack. There are plenty to choose from and I have recently been going through the various flavours of Muller Light yoghurts. These are currently on special offer at several of my local supermarkets where you can buy 4 for £1.00, and the RRP of each one is 61p so it's quite a good saving. Muller Light yoghurts are available in a wide variety of flavours, and I ended up with this Cherry flavoured one ... more

Advantages Advantages Great tasting and good for you.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None.

In the interest of keeping myself trim and in shape I am constantly trying to train my taste buds to enjoy things that are better for me than the usual rubbish I eat. I have always liked yogurt but never been keen on the light versions or low fat versions of any of them as they are normally quite bitter tasted and never sweet enough for me. Muller light however has changed all that because their range of light yogurts are all very good and I have even found myself eating the cherry one, cherry was never a flavour I would have chose before but the Muller light cherry flavour is delicious ... more

Advantages Advantages Creamy smooth yogurt and plenty of fruit

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Causes family rows

I have a confession to make. I read labels. I am obsessed with reading labels to see what the hell 'they' have put in things now. I try to keep up with the way 'they' call things by their full chemical name to avoid having an 'E'number on their labels. So obviously I read the labels of the Muller light yogurts that my colleague wanted us to buy for our lunch. I should point out that our lunch was to be eaten by ourselves in a dingy nursery that we were redecorating on our own in one weekend. We had to perch on infant chairs and use plastic plates and infant cutlery. So what we wanted was ... more

Advantages Advantages Nice amount of sweet juicy cherries and flavour

Disadvantages Disadvantages the yogurt itself is quite thin

Now, I love anything with cherries - especially black cherry, and I love yogurt, so combining them together as low fat and calorie is great. The most important questions of all are of course - 'does it have sufficent amount of cherries?' 'are they fresh, sweet and juicy?' 'what is the size of the cherries' and 'is it creamy?'. For a low fat/ calorie yogurt (at only 94 kcal and 0.1g per pot) you really can't go wrong. The cherries are nice and plump, sweet and taste like real cherries. The yogurt itself has a plesant cherry taste that is not too sweet as to give the impression that it is made ... more

Muller Light Yoghurt is glorious! There really is no more to be said on the subject but I know that I ought to go on and explain a little more. After all I want you to feel that I have earned my penny payment earned by the fact that you are reading this work of literary genius! I will just say that I am actually eating a carton of Muller Light whilst I am typing this opinion. Well, I keep stopping the typing to pick the spoon up, but you know what I mean. Muller Light comes in 200g cartons currently costing 36p each, but most supermarkets sell them at 3 for 99p so offering a saving of 9p on ... more

As always, I'm on a diet and so I'm always looking out for low calorie and low fat deserts and snacks that are suitable for someone counting calories! "I'm hungry" I say - and people reply "well, eat some fruit!" - but sometimes I want something more than just fruit and salad leaves - and this is where Cherry Muller Light Yoghurt has become my secret weapon! Each 190g pot contains just 90 calories and is fat free - and so I can eat it and remain relatinvely guilt free and polish my halo! One pot costs 52p from Waitrose, but I think it would be cheaper in other supermarkets and certainly less ... more

Advantages Advantages Low calorie; Low fat; Big chunks of fruit; Yummy

Disadvantages Disadvantages Unpleasant aftertaste; Slighty more expensive than other brands

I must admit I am quite obsessed by these little babies. Every week I buy fourteen pots, fourteen pots of nothing but cherry yoghurt. It has a nice fresh taste; sweet but not over powered by the vile chemical taste of artificial sweetener, (something I find a problem with all other Muller light flavours). The yoghurt itself is good and thick, though it's not particularly creamy. It has an ample amount of good-sized chunks of real cherry. Not the tiny little flecks that you get in some yoghurts; but real lumps, big enough to chew on. The only thing that makes this yoghurt less than perfect is ... more
