Tempting, Tangy...its the Toffee! Review with images

Advantagesdelicious, low fat and calories, filling

DisadvantagesAspartame

"...still tempted to try the Muller Light Toffee yoghurt, especially since the image of the toffee square on the foil lid looked so delicious! At the time I first purchased this particular pot, Asda had one of their mega deals on, so I decided to take just one of the Toffee options and add it with the rest. I didn't know what to expect from it, but I hoped that it tasted as it said it would - I had built up a craving for the sugary sweet taste of toffee ..." Read review

A lighter way to enjoy toffee

AdvantagesTaste of toffee without the calories of toffee

Disadvantagesquite a mild taste

"...two six packs of bargain muller light. For anyone who didnt read my last op I got two multipacks of six yoghurts, half vanilla and half toffee for £1.99 in Sainsburys. This is a really fantastic bargain as usually at the most you can buy 3 single pots for a pound on special offer!! Anyway I thought it would be a sin to finish them all without telling you about the other flavour in the pack - toffee. Try not to worry I have not read my last muller ..." Read review

BEST LOW-FAT FOOD ON THE MARKET

AdvantagesIdeal healthy and tasty slimming food

DisadvantagesNone

"...I limit myself to one Muller light a day when dieting (like now!) The National Osteoporosis Society used their patron and actor Ross Kemp to launch their Bone Friendly logo in 1999 to raise awareness of products which are beneficial to bone health because few people are aware of how much calcium they should take or what foods are good sources of this, Muller light yoghurt was targeted for this and the logo features on the top of each pot to show ..." Lose weight scoffing toffee

AdvantagesDelicious, Low Fat

DisadvantagesNone

"...Slimming World class was that Muller Lite yogurts were a free food, meaning I could eat as many of them as I liked. Grudgingly, I went along to my local Kwik Save and bought half a dozen in assorted flavours. And as I suspected, they were bloody disgusting - thin, tasteless, synthetic, and not at all creamy or satisfying or pleasurable. I bemoaned the fact at my class the next week, and the person next to me asked if I'd tried the toffee flavour. ..." Read review

Oh yum, yum, yum

AdvantagesTastes wonderful, low calorie, low price

DisadvantagesNone

"...a couple of opinions on Muller Light Toffee Yoghurt and I realised that this was one flavour that I hadn’t yet tried. So. Whilst out shopping this morning I decided to remedy the situation and I am eating the said yoghurt whilst I write this opinion! I purchased the yoghurt from my local branch of Asda where it was on special offer at 29p a pot – it is usually 39p per pot. The toffee-flavoured yoghurt is in the same sort of pot at all the other ..." Read review

Yummy yoghurt.

AdvantagesNice for a snack or eating as part of a calorie controlled diet.

DisadvantagesNone for me.

"I like this brand of yoghurts and buy lots of them most weeks and often buy them on special offer and save a lot of money. This one is a real favourite of mine because I love toffee flavoured foods and sweets. Toffee flavour isn’t one that everyone likes and it isn’t as popular I guess as some of the other flavours but I love the taste of this flavour. The yoghurt comes in a nice round white plastic carton with a foil pull off lid with the name clearly ..." Read review

Toffee-licious!

Advantagesoffers, fat free, tastes nice, stays fresh

Disadvantagesexpensive at full price, sugar content, sweetener after-taste

"...the official information from the Muller website states that each 175g pot contains 89 calories, 12.4g of sugar and 0.2g of fat. There is also 26% of your RDA of calcium per pot. Ingredients include aspartame so if you aren't keen on consuming this sweetener then avoid this particular range. This product is not suitable for vegetarians or those with milk allergies. This particular flavour of Muller Light is available in most supermarkets at around ..." Read review

Toffeelicious!

AdvantagesGreat little dessert, 99 Calories per pot, very tasty

DisadvantagesToo moreish

"Recently I stopped smoking (5 weeks as of writing this review!), and to avoid putting weight on and also to shed some of the pounds I had already accumulated through eating too many sweets and cakes, I decided to start a health and fitness regime. Now, I have never been a fan of yoghurts, especially ones with fruit bits in them (it's a texture thing) and I needed a healthy bit of sweetness to keep my cravings at bay. That's when I discovered this ..." Read review

"...my delight when I discovered Muller Light Yoghurt Toffee flavoured, I knew I just had to give it a go. My life does seem like it’s just one big constant diet and as I am human I do feel the need for something sweet in the evening after dinner whilst watching telly and these fit into that category very nicely indeed as they are 99% fat free, only cost you 106 calories and 0.2g of fat per 200g tub but the best bit is these are a free food on ..." Toffee Yogurt is a free food

AdvantagesGood for your bones

DisadvantagesIt does not taste like toffee

"...title is slightly misleading as Muller Light Toffee Yogurt is only a free food on the Slimming World diet. You do actually have to pay for them. They cost around 30 to 40 pence each and most are well worth every penny – but I am not sure about the toffee one though. On the Slimming World diet they have a list of foods that dieters can eat without restraint and all Muller Lights, including the toffee flavoured, are one of them. Other free foods ..." Read review

Low fat but high in flavour

Advantagesgreat flavour, handy filling snack, low in calories

Disadvantagesnone for me!

"...through the various flavours of Muller Light yoghurts. These are currently on special offer at several of my local supermarkets where you can buy 4 for £1.00, and the RRP of each one is 61p so it's quite a good saving. Muller Light yoghurts are available in a wide variety of flavours, and I chose Toffee as it comes highly recommended by my dad who has one of these yoghurts every single day after his dinner! These yoghurts come in individual plastic ..." Read review

Makes Dieting a Pleasure

AdvantagesLow in Fat

Disadvantagesnone

"...intake so when I found Muller light Yogurt which claims to be 99.9% fat free I was delighted and couldn’t wait to try it. Muller comes in a variety of flavours but my all time favourite is Toffee it is delicious and the taste so good its hard to believe there are only 53 calories per 100g. The yogurt come in 200g pots so that is 106 calories not a lot and it is very filling. The price is usually 37p a pot but is always on special at one ..." Read review

Sinful Dieting

AdvantagesVERY low fat, SOOOO tasty and not too expensive

Disadvantageserr... are there any?

"...the least amount of fat. Muller Light Toffee was twice the size of all the shape and ski yoghurts and had half the fat they did!! Per pot you will get: 110 Kcal and 0.1g of fat. WOW!! The yoghurt cost me 35p - less than some chocolate bars!! And it is about the size of two 'normal' sized pots (like the ones you get in packs of four). They're also available in every supermarket and some corner shops!! THE TASTE. Well, what can I say ..." Muller Light Toffee Yoghurt is like eating medicine.

AdvantagesLow calories and fat free.

DisadvantagesArtificial taste. Too sweet.

"...generally a big fan of Muller Light yoghurts, having tried the cherry, rasperry and cranberry and the mandarin versions. Today I saw the Smooth Toffee Muller Light Yoghurt which I hadn't tried before and so I thought I'd give it a try. One 190g pot cost me 62p from Waitrose - which is a fairly average price for yoghurts in Waitrose. The yoghurt itself is a very light warm caramel brown that looks very smooth, rich and velvety. The consistency of ..." Read review
