...tried, I came across the Murad Blemish Control range. Reading about the Murad brand and the claims of the products, I felt confident enough to give their products a try. And after much deliberation, chose 3 products which I felt, used together would most benefit my skin.
The first product I tried was the Murad Clarifying Cleanser, which cost me £18.50 for 200ml. Now, the products in the Murad ranges come in different steps as follows:

I decided rather than to start using all my products at once, I would use this alone for a while first so that I could see what actual difference the cleanser made, rather than the routine as a whole.
The cleanser comes as a 200ml tube packaged in a card box. The packaging is very simple and quite clinical looking, whilst being stylish enough to look good on display in your bathroom. ...

...came across a sale of Murad stuff. Murad is a pricey skin care line over here, which like Dermalogica, is aimed at problem skin. I purchased Murad Clarifying Cleanser in a sale - and I'm impressed. It comes in a clear bottle, with a white and blue label, and the cleanser itself is a pale yellow colour. It smells pleasant, and herbaly, and is less clinical looking and smelling than Dermalogica.
The Cleanser contains triclosan and salicylic acid for ... ...get it online through the Murad site or through suppliers like Sephora. Some of the bargain sites, or ebay might also be worth a look. To all of you out there who are suffering from acne, chin up and keep smiling. It is a nasty thing to have, and you need to make sure you have a sympathetic medical provider and/or beauty therapist. It does get better though, and there are SO many effective ways of dealing with it. Don't let it win!! ...

Advantages: it lasts for months on end, clears up skin QUICKLY! Disadvantages: price was at first an issue, but only until having seen the benefits.
...When I came across the Murad Clear Skin starter box in Boots, I at first thought it was too expensive. But with the money back guarantee they were offering I thought I might as well give it a ago.
The clarifying cleanser should really be used as part of a three step treatement for best results, but boy does it give results! I was a bit weary at first as it says you may go through a purging process, however that did not happen to me. I have been ... ...evening. You could use the Murad one, however I find that any oil free moisturiser will do. Then I apply - as needed - the blemish cover gel directly on spots only as it is 4% sulphur and very strong indeed. I would however not recommend this series unless you really do have a very oily skin and have real issues with acne, and not just the occasional spot.
