NEC E606

...I have had the Nec e606 for about three months now. I previously had the Motorola a835, which decided to break so I needed to replace it. The problem is that I have a contract with 3 Mobile; I think you will all sigh at that, and that means that I can only put my sim card in a 3 Mobile telephone. This really effected me. but I bought an extended life battery and now it lasts upto 3 days. But unfortunately it is now really bulky as this battery is twice the size. Having owned this for abour three months now, I can say that the handset does not live up to expectations. Although the screen is one of the best on the 3G market at the moment, this no way makes up for the number of problems experienced. As well as a very poor signal and awful battery life, I have found that the phone is constantly crashing and needs to be "rebooted". Also on 3 occassions, the memory has now blanked itself, losing all my downloads, ...

I bought My NEC back in August for the princely sum of £30. It is hooked up to the 3 network on a great tariff which gives 500 anytime any network minutes for £25. A bargain. As well as all of this you get video call functionality and 3G services. The 3G services are, quite frankly, rubbish.
