Life after Nokia - with the NEC 338
Review of NEC e338 by sandemp

Advantages: Smart video phone | Didn't cost me anything
Disadvantages: Installed ringtones a tad quiet | Can only download from Three

...was a very smart looking NEC 338, and of course being the techno-freak that I am, it took very little persuasion to get me to sign on the dotted line. Three days later and my new toy was delivered by Royal Mail, and I excitedly opened the box, to find : My new mobile phone, A battery A charger (that came in two parts) A headset A welcome pack from Three including my USIM card. ~~~The looks~~~ The 338 is a smart clamshell design, the ... Time? I'll just check on my NEW PHONE... -UPDATE-
Review of NEC e338 by reddragonflame87

Advantages: Small, lightweight, and attractive. Very good camera quality.
Disadvantages: Sound quality poor. Not as many functions as you would expect from a modern phone - expecially considering the price.

...lowly Trium 110p to the NEC e313, on to the Motorola A835, I have a habit of getting cheap phones that break down easily. From this, I decided it was time to get a decent phone. So off I trotted to the City Centre. Four hours later, and I am lost, cold, hungry, and slightly frightened at all the shoppers running round muttering to themselves. I have searched everywhere for a decent phone, and have only one place left to look... The Link. Now, ... Read review

Great 3G Phone
Review of NEC e338 by MBailey

Advantages: Very advanced features - Easy to personalise to personal taste
Disadvantages: Quite bulky - Has an aerial

I have bought this phone relativly recently on Three. It came free as part of a contract. I'm not going to go into all of the specifications and sizes etc... as this is all avaliable off the manufactures website. Instead, I am going to give my personal opinion on the phone. Just looking at the phone doesn't make that much of an impression. Its reasonably large and doesn't seem to stand out as being that amazing. However, once you open it up ... Read review

NEC 338
Review of NEC e338 by henman_junior

Advantages: cheap handset, has all necessary options:e-mail, photo, video, SMS, MMS. Is good size
Disadvantages: doesn't have real sound ringtones (only polyphonic) and no front screen

I got the NEC 338 because I lost my LGU880 & it was on contract and not insured. The NEC 338 was the only 3 mobile that was reasonably priced and reasonably functional or aesthetically pleasing. I am very pleased with it. The phone is small enough to fit in all pockets easily and leave room for other things. It has a big screen. Sadly the keys are on the small side but still easy to use for texting (I do about 10 words every 12secs). Layout is very ... Read review
