This device comes in 3 ways. no drive 500gb drive 1tb drive Quite often Netgear are offering a FREE drive , so allways check out before you purchase. Looks- the Design is black all the way round, its very slim and small with attractive blue lights to show if its on , and HD activity. (not recommended to be placed in a bedroom, unless u like a light show). Unfortunatly It is VERY LOUD, the fan on the back is large and makes quite abit of noise, especially on boot. Recently acquired a ReadyNAS Duo with 2x 1TB drives in. I found the device incredibly versatile - this is not just a NAS. It is a sign of what is to come - a low power, incredibly versatile box of tricks which sits quietly (except during boot up) in a corner somewhere chugging away. I haven't used it to its full potential yet - but I do have it setup to download all my movies/music using an NZB and Torrent plugin.
