Advantages: Another decent controller from Nintendo Disadvantages: The cable, the Price
The Nintendo Wii hasn't just led the way with their innovative main controller but with the second controller, the Nunchuck, they have gone one step beyond Xbox and Sony. For the majority of the Wii's games they make use of both controllers to ensure that you use both hands to control the games. While the Wiimote seems to hold all the wireless and movement technology, the Nunchuck is equally as advanced. With the Wii mote in your right hand the idea ... ...the game as well. It is connected to the Wiimote by wire, which plugs simply into the bottom of the Wiimote, making it all quite simple to connect up. With the addition of the Nunchuck you then get an additional three controls for all the games. Once connected to the Wiimote it also then becomes a movement sensor and your actions using the Nunchuck. This means that on games such as Wii Boxing and Family Ski the Wiimote in one hand and Nunchuck in ...

...games. In my opinion, Nintendo have made a strange (or clever depending on your angle) decision to sell the nunchuck seperately to the Wii remote meaning an outlay of around £50 if you want to buy them both.
--What is a nunchuck--
The nunchuck serves a multitude of purposes depending on which game you play. Some games even rely soley on the Wii remote but using the nunchuck enhances the gaming experience greatly. These in turn allow you to make purchases such as screensavers, ringtones and games when you earn the correct amount of points. There are even rumours that you will be able to turn these stars into Wii points in the near future. Advantages: Easy to install, the analogue stick can be useful Disadvantages: Not very sensitive, lacks additional controls, costly
*Are we talking about the same thing?* Reading the other reviews of the Wii Nunchuck Controller, I'm starting to wonder whether I'm living in a parallel universe! The bulk of reviews to date appear to be glowing and the experience of other users doesn't seem to compare to mine and so I thought I'd add my tuppence worth for the sake of conversation. *Availability and pricing* Although prices vary for the Nunchuck, it's typical to pay £11-15 for it ... ...already have shelled out in the region of £30 for additional Wii Remotes. You really need to ask yourself whether a console where adding a second player to, say, a boxing match for the sum of £45 is a sensible purchase! Some games insist upon using a Nunchuck controller (Final Fantasy for the Wii is one such example). *Setting up* The Nunchuck plugs into the base of the Wii Controller and is wired to the standard controller with a cable that comes ...

== Nintendo Wii Nunchuck Controller Review == === What is a Nunchuck? === The Nintendo Wii Nunchuck is a white plastic controller which is meant to be held in your left hand (if you are right handed) like a secondary controller. The Nunchuck has white rubber stick to control movements and two buttons "c" and "z" which are normally used as action buttons. The Nunchuck costs about £15 in most shops and is needed for quite a large number of games. === ... ...use the Nunchuck on its own and it needs to be plugged into the Wii remote to work. You just have to clip the Nunchuck in to the bottom of the Wii remote and you will be able to use it. The Nunchuck does actually have some motion sensing abilities but these are not often used and don`t work very well. Try boxing in Wii Sports and you will see what I mean. === Durability === One problem I have with my Nunchuck is it somehow randomly broke and I am ...

Advantages: Easy to use Disadvantages: Should be wireless
Nintendo Wii Nunchuck, The Nunchuck is another controller for the Wii you attach it to the bottom of the WiiMote by wire, Im not really sure why they dont connect them wireless but the wire does not get in the way to much it is still playable, Nintendo have been clever about the Nunchuck they sell it seperate than the Wiimote which means more money for Nintendo, But it is deffinatly worth buying it.
~~~What does it do?~~~
The Nunchuck is used in ... ...Since it is how you move around.
Overall the Nunchuck is a really clever idea by Nintendo since they make more money but it is also very useful for us since, Its more spaced out so you control the Nunchuck with one hand and the WiiMote with the other. ...
Included in my Nintendo Wii pack was a nunchuck and originally I didnt have any games that used it apart from Wii sport. Now I have and I have to say I give it mixed reviews. With a horse racing game it is very sensitave so easy to guide the horse and its simple to use yet with my brother pro evolution soccer it isnt very accuratle when controling the footballer.
I think this is due to the fact that with the horse game you move the whole nunchuck ...
