Advantages: Innovation, Responsiveness Disadvantages: Price, Ease Of Use
I purchased the Nintendo Wii after weeks of searching the internet for a shop that hadnt sold out and once i found one available i bought it immediately. The package came with Wii sports and a remote controller and i have to say that i was quite impressed. The controllers work well with the console and in particular with wii sports. The biggest issue that i have with the remote is the battery issue. Whilst the batteries do last a long time when installed, ...

Nintendo Wii Remote Review By Vaza

DESIGN
The Wii Remote, as the name implies, uses the shape of a Television remote to familiarise itself with non-gamers. ...

...hard to believe that the Nintendo Wii has been unleashed to the European market for well over a year now, and I was one of the lucky few to hold the console on day one. I remember a slightly younger version of myself excited as though it was christmas day, although it was a few weeks previous. One of the first things I wanted to do was tell the internet all about it, and some may remember my original Wii remote review. Now, with 14 months experience ...

I don't think its much to look at, but here is a case where form followed function. It appears to be a pretty average remote control pad but it's far from that.
It consists of 8 buttons on the top:
- Power on/off
- Direction pad
- Button A
- '-' Button
- Home Button
- '+' Button
- Button 1
- Button 2
As well as the Button B on the underside.
The majority of individual button functions ...

Advantages: Good Features. Well Made Disadvantages: A little expensive
As mentioned in my review of the Wii Nunchuck I have had my Wii for a few weeks but haven’t had chance to review it so am starting with the peripherals.
The Wii uses wireless controllers (it was the first games console to do this) that communicate with the main console via bluetooth. Unfortunately the Wii only comes with a single controller and as the main fun with the Wii comes from playing against friends and family I immediately purchased a ...

Advantages: Durable and Sleek Disadvantages: Wired to the Nunchuck controller, battery powered.
With the release of the Nintendo Wii, controller design was always going to be an integral part of the console. As a result, Nintendo have opted for the sleek approach, no bigger than an average TV remote.
Working in tandem with the Wii Sensor Bar (which comes with the console), it allows for the gamer to point and use the remote as if they were in the game.
This review is mainly to give pointers with many questions and queries often asked about ...

Advantages: easy to use, more realistic than button presses Disadvantages: price in the uk
A game controller shaped like a TV remote, the new wii remote has already been called revolutionary excessively. So why is it being called the future of games? Well although the wii remote has very few buttons it has a few features that put the more expensive consoles to shame.
The first of these is its amazing ability to track itself through 3D space using a combination of internal accelerometers and infra red to track itself and then sends all ...

...for gameplay, i think The nintendo company has really made a new and inovative way of playing video games. Trust me, if you buy this you are not going to be dissapointed and you will have loads of fun. However, its not really easy to use when you first get it, and there are no grips on the remote, so its easy for it to just slip out, but if it does, its not a problem because the remote is very durable and can take a bashing.

Everybody needs one. It allows full use of the controls and enables people to join in with you if you have two or more multiplayer as most of the games that are on the wii enable this function. hours of endless fun can be spent playing with someone else or by yourself is useful if you wish to spend hours addicted to playing along. There may be a need to buy another nunchuck to go with this as some games require one. With up to 4 players available ...

with the introduction of this completely new games console, came the introduction of a totally new controllers. While most others had followed the Playstation and XBox, the Wii controller allows games to be played with one hand. A nunchuk can be added fot two handed gaming, which oscespecially good for boxing on Wii Sports. This more ergonomic design is much more comfortable, both on its own or with a protective skin. With the design of the Wii, the ...
