NTL

I’ve been an NTL customer for 5 years now and what started as them being my phone company has changed into them providing my phone, TV package and internet service. Earlier this year they came third in a worst customer service poll, but my experience has been generally positive with them. BT customers can purchase a re-routing box and if their monthly call costs amount to £10.99 (that amount might have changed recently) they can have NTLworld as well. Now, I have a 56k modem which I use to dial up to connect to the ntl network and I must say I am rather impressed with the connection speed of 45 333 bps that it connects at. Now what you have to do is ring ntl and ask them for a CD. You also have to agree to have your phone bill from them instead of BT. Money talks in the Castlebinn household and we were swayed by ntl's free phone line rental, cheaper calls than BT and cable TV - wohoo! 24hr TV! We signed up for £9.99 a month. A polite man with a van fitted the cable and set-top box on the appointed day and time. We were so surprised by such old-fashioned efficiency ...
