The essential student card!

AdvantagesDiscounts to many popular stores, cheap to buy easy to apply

DisadvantagesWhen applying through school/college, card can take a while to arrive back

"...you are a student, the NUS card is a must have! Applying; .... If you are in a 6th form school, or at college, you can usually pick up a NUS form and send it away with your passport photo and £11 and then simply wait. Although it's not always that simple! When I applied through school, I was waiting at least 6 weeks for my card to arrive back, so I would suggest applying for your card online! If applying via a written form, you will need ..." Discounts for Students!

AdvantagesDiscounts At Many Places, Save Money

Disadvantages£10, Only For Students, Only Lasts A Year

"The NUS Card is a discount card that is available for students only giving various discounts on high street stores. Unfortunately, to be eligible for the card you have to be in further or higher education which includes college, university and Sixth Form students. If you are one of these people this card is definately worth checking out as it has helped me out quite a lot. So it started when I was in Sixth Form and we were given an assembly on this ..." The card all students should have!

AdvantagesThere are loads of discounts.

DisadvantagesSometimes it can take a while to be delivered.

"The NUS discount card is for students in higher education such as uni, collage or sixth forth. I am in Sixth form and I bought this card a couple of months ago and think it was well worth £11. Normally the card cost £10 but I oppted for the ISIC upgrade for a pound this is the international student identiy card and give you access to offers internationally, so people who want to travel, then for an extra £1 it is probably worth it. I ordered mine ..." Read review

Save, Save, Save...

AdvantagesYou save lots of money if you shop in stores & go to places where you can get the NUS discount!

DisadvantagesIt costs £11.00 to start with and you don't start saving until you have saved this £11.00 back...

"NUS Extra discount Card I am not going to bore you will endless detail because the NUS website is very informative and tell you everything that you need to know... ==Are you eligible== There is a whole page telling you if you are eligible for a card. You have to be 16plus and there is no upper age. I am pretty sure you can get one as long as you are studying full time. If you are at a NUS affiliated organisation such as a school, college ..." A Student's Best Friend!

Advantagesdiscount on most shops

Disadvantagessale items arent included

"...send an application form to NUS along with £11 and a photo of yourself, the card will then be with you within a week. Perfect! The photo is to ensure that the card is not used by any anyone other than yourself. I would recommend this as the card will get you at least 10% discount, sometimes 20% dependant on special offers or which shop you go to. It might seem a bit harsh to expect you to pay £11 for the card, but you will save a ridiculous amount ..." Read review

No student should be without it

Advantagesstudent ID & great discounts

Disadvantageshave to pay for it, only valid for a year

"...nights and text books, an NUS student card is essential for any student. Whilst normally associated with university, you can also purchase one if you are in 6th form. Even though you have to pay a steep £10 for a card, most students have one because of the associated benefits (more later). Additionally, I have found that this is the only form of student ID a club, cinema etc will accept so it’s definitely worth buying one. How to get a magical student ..." Read review
