Advantages: cheap! doesn't take long to work! smells nice, can use on all hair types Disadvantages: can stain your towel, can sting if put on wrong places
I bought nair for the first time just when I started University. This is because as a University student I am on a tight budget and this hair removal cream was going for 99p in Wilknson, I thought it wasn't going to work for me because for 99p that was exceptionally cheap. I had not really heard about the brand that much, so wasn't to sure about purchasing the product.
There were other nair products on the shelf but my eyes were just drawn to this ... ...its own. Nair can be used on all hair types, which I thought was great. It has baby oil to help leave you skin feeling soft and its floral fragrance leaves you smelling nice.
The hair removal cream comes well packaged in a thin box and the cream itself is in a smooth tube.
Opening the hair removal cream container is rather easy as it has the screw on lid, which can be un-screwed easily.
The cream is white in colour and is rather thick when it ...

Advantages: QUICK TO USE, QUITE CHEAP TO BUY Disadvantages: CAN BE A BIT MESSY
...In the past, Nair used to do sachets of cream specifically for legs and another type for the bikini area. Now, they do one that covers all areas – it is suitable for use on the bikini area, legs and underarms. It comes in anew ‘fresh’ fragrance – a lot better than some of the nasty smelling products you can get. Cost wise, it comes at the cheaper end of the market – I can’t recall ever paying much more than £1.99 ... ...few more sachets. Nair is by no means in the same league as Immac – (when I’ve used this, I’ve had excellent results which seem to last a bit longer) but, as far as depilatory creams and lotions go, it’s not bad. So, here’s to plenty of fuzz free features in the future (try saying that when you’ve had a few!) ...

Before I go any further, what it fails to mention on the tube is that this stuff smells something akin to sewage works, I mean a really, really vile stench, so before you start open a window or put on a gas mask.
The instructions state that after 5 minutes you should test a small area, and if hair doesn`t wipe off easily then you should leave it a bit longer, but no longer than 15 minutes. Knowing I`ve got more hair than your average gorilla, ...

...the local shop had - Nair . It was labelled as New 3 in 1 Gel and described itself as a hair remover + moisturiser + skin conditioner with aloe, allantoin, vitamin E and natural moisturising factor.
Just smooth on and shower off – it said which sounded simple enough.

1.Smooth on Nair with fingertips. Completely cover the area of unwanted hair with [in bold] a thick even layer. Do not rub in.
It also says ‘The moisturising particles will disperse on the skin during application.
The gel has little lumps in it which I assume are the moisturising particles – BUT they did NOT disperse. I guess that means no moisturiser so nil points for moisturiser.

Advantages: something different to try Disadvantages: strong smell, gentle in sensitive areas, doesnt always remove all the hair
...Boots one day I noticed Nair hair removal products and was quite intrigued, I'd seen an advert for a hair removal cream on tv, I dont think it was for Nair, but I had the general idea of how they worked so I decided to see what they were like!
I cant really remember why I chose Nair, to be honest I think it was one of the cheapest and I reasoned with myself that they all do roughly the same job! This product is a glide-on hair remover. It contains ... ...white plastic 100ml tube with Nair written on in blue italics and various other info (smooth touch) written in a grey or blue colour. On the back there is a LOT of very small writing, this includes more info on the product and the instructions. To be honest the packaging is pretty plain and doesnt particularly stand out. The instructions are clear but are so tiny that you have to hold the tube quite close!
The cream is relatively easy to use. There ...

...(hopefully). My mother always used Nair growing up but I hated the smell- she would use it on her legs, clean it all off after and she would STILL smell like that awful smell a few days later. Glancing through a few supermarkets, however, I noticed Nair has come really far in the world!

Advantages: Your legs recognise daylight Disadvantages: I feel sooo guilty
My oldest daughter is twelve years old, but is more like I was when I was sixteen, for the purpose of this opinion, lets just say that she is a tweenager, somewhere between a child & a teenager.
She is the same height as me.
She takes bigger shoes than me
She has better taste in clothes than me, USUALLY.
About a year ago her taste in clothes became jeans. Nothing else, just jeans. Now as a mum this puzzled me, my pretty baby girl, whom I dressed ... ...without her jeans.
Anyway, I asked her in April why I had found her new shortie pyjamas in the bin bag. No reply. Then suddenly two weeks ago she asked me when she could start shaving like I did.
Ahhhh! It was beginning to make sense & bring back all of those distressing memories of "the embarrassing body changes". All the other signs were there. I told her she was far too young to shave & explained about alternatives, like depilatory creams. She ...

...bought a twin sachet of Nair Moisturising Hair Remover because it said on the sachet that it was gentle and suitable for all applications, including bikini line.
The cream is very thin and it tends to run a bit when you apply it but I put up with that in anticipation of a really smooth, silky finish. That is what it promises in the 'blurb'.
After about six minutes I decided that it was time to shower off the cream, as directed.
I could not get ... ...disappointment as I have used Nair products before and found them excellent. I don't think this was a 'one-off' reaction either, as I spoke to a friend who had exactly the same problems with this product.
